Replacing Injectors - Worth Servicing at the same time?

While you've got the fuel rail guard off, it gives easier access to the oil filter... That said, it's a 2 second job to remove it if you service it at a different time.

    Gearbox / engine mount

Process to swap that mount: Battery and airbox out. Undo 18mm nut. Whack the stud with a hammer (can sometimes take a fair old whack until the box drops). Undo 2x 13mm nuts. Bolts are captive underneath, but will probably fall out. Lift mount off. Install in reverse order. You might need a...

    Gearbox? Somethings not right.

Nothing in that area is a 15mm. Always a chance someone could have replaced the original 16mm's with one of these though.

    Gearbox? Somethings not right.

If it's a 16mm head, it could be from anywhere in that area. Could be one of the ones that mount the gearbox spider to the box itself.. or could be one that bolts the box to the block, but there are so many doing that, you probably wouldn't notice it missing. My bet, either gearbox mount...

    Gearbox? Somethings not right.

That's not the main dogbone bolt. The 18mm one anyway. Could well be the 16mm one that mounts it to the subframe, but doubtful that would work it's way out.. What size is the head?

    clio 182 F4R rebuild

You could have got that cheaper from a few members on here i'll bet. £750 to fit an engine being the main one. I'd have charged £250-300.

Why not bed them in on the way to track? Unless it's a trailer jobbie?

Yep, trailer always takes the shortest route. Other than that, no drama.

    Volvo 850R

Was a bit of a fiddly one to sort. 100x easier on a ramp owing to it's location, but as simple as unbolt it from the turbo, pop the return out. Instant gasket. Replace. Thing the o-ring had had it. (it was 5 years ago, so memory not that good)

As @leeds2592 said, there's no such thing as a stupid question. It becomes stupid if you ask it twice.

Whiteline ARB - Lost D Bracket

I need a bit of threaded bar for one of these too if anyone has a spare.. I have a length of threaded rod, but bending it to shape has proved an absolute fucker so far. Might have to get the torch out.

    Project: Nick Frost 172

Screwdriver in the back of the mech. It'll pop open once you push the arm over. It's pretty fiddly TBH.

Saxo VTS as a track car

VTS' are too expensive now mate. Most will either have rotted away, or be sheds. 172 is the best option at the minute.

    Neil's Exige

You can get a 996 for £10k. But the Turbo starts at £35k for an Auto. £40k for a rough-ish manual. As soon as you go older than 996, well, you can spend as much as you have.
