    It all depends how the car hit the barrier. Chassis legs are designed to take head on damage not sideways. Quick jig and it would be fine

    Under 10k I would get a 135i hatch 3dr. Quick map and 400bhp in standard form. Nothing will touch it for that price. But full track/race car would be EG/EK

    I'm on PAS rack with EPAS column. I've dropped some pas oil inside to keep it lined up, mine doesnt leak? Theres no pressure now to force oil past any seals. To be fair though mine has only done 45000miles

    Can you clamp the part in a vice and then gently tap the torches anticlockwise to see if it unscrew?

    Looks like 2 parts pressed together to me with 2 x O ring style seals. One sunk into the top and one sat in a grove lower down.
