    The handling is fine for me,just a little more forgiving than the DR sim handling. Theres some brilliant,fast downhill stages in Wales & Australia - bombing down those in an Impreza takes some skill to get through without an error!

    Isnt trying to avoid the banks on the edge of the track the 'skill' in playing the game hehe... Anyway,the 'gamer' handling' simplifies things,makes it more playable for the casual gamer...

    Whatever it is,it represents excellent value for money,be it a 1*2 or 197. If you want a raw hot hatch,you cant go wrong for that money.

    I dont think its anything like 2 or 3...doesnt have any of that americanized ''dude!!'' gymkhana stuff for a start. To me,its just Dirt Rally but more in-depth, with Landrush bolted on.

    The inclusion of Spain and Australia is a great addition - i think 'gamer' handling is very playable and feels about right to me - i simply havnt the time to start mastering 'sim' handling. You still have the feeling of one wrong move and your stage is over on 'gamer'. The old Seat felt great on...

    Clio 200 at 70 mph is around 4K RPM in 6th gear.....i thought the ratios wouldve been a lot longer. And with an Akra fitted that is a very loud drone on the motorway..

    I found the 182 better for a daily than a 200. My 200 feels very highly strung,and ready to go on the track all the time.. If you get a 200,make sure its had the EFI Map to sort out the flatspot/kangaroo issue,which is a pain in the ass.

    Yeah,theres a choice of 'gamer' or 'sim' handling....gamer is simplified,more arcade handling,although its still a real challenge. Theres some great rally stages in Spain - some really fast downhill sections..

    The R26 has a certain 'quirkyness' about it which gives it character - all the storage cubby holes in the floor & doors,the landing gear handbrake etc.

    yeah,i just did a quick quote and the R26 came out a bit cheaper than my 200 - but that might have something to do with mods on my 200.

    Did you try the EFI map? Im considering it - seems to be the only thing that can rememdy a few things like the flatspot. Other than that,its just a case of living with its 'characteristics' until you get to the b-roads...

    Yeah ive heard of EFI,and its an option - does it remedy any of the cold engine issues aswell? The first 5-10 minutes the car has literally no power and sounds rough.. I just think its not a good car if you commute a lot,no power below the 4K range and a loud Akra exhuast isnt a great combo...

    What other spec was there apart from xenons? If its in good condition and has had belts done then its looks really good value for money,it is an R26 at the end of the day. No interior pics could be a telling sign though.
