Yeah im looking at an R26 F1....some very good examples around the £6K mark. regarding the sale of my 200 - it says an average garage PX value is £5K?! Is that right....when they are selling for £7-9K in Liquid Yelllow.....

within my budget though i dont think i can get a FF cup version? What about this one,is it just a basic spec one...

Yeah i looked at that - a little bit out of my budget though,unless i can get it for £9.5K and sell my LY for £9K hehe.

The R26 - is this a much more 'comfortable' driving experience at slower,commuting speeds than a 200?

True..il try the tie wraps first hehe. It all seems to be a bit random..today it drove fine but other days it just wont go at cold engine temp. Maybe im learning to tame the kangaroo hehe.

Yeah i work near Dean Clough but commute from near Castleford. I never see any 200's about....thats what i like about them,well rare hehe. Fiesta ST's & Corsa VXR's are so common nowadays...

Followed it for a couple of mile through Halifax in my LY 200......its rare to see another 200 anywhere,let alone near where i work hehe.

How long do you call a warmup hehe...mine still does it after 10 minutes of driving! Do you know if that tie wrapping the map sensor works at all?

@Christopher have you ever had a problem with the kangarooing effect in 2nd gear in the 200? Ive had mine a week and i get it quite a lot..it seems to happen when at a standstill on a junction with a slight downhill incline,when i accelerate after. I end up quickly changing up to 3rd.

Ive just bought a LY 200,and the belts were done a month before i got it..so hoping it was a decent job!

Doncaster diagnostic centre is £420 for the 200 belts....trusted guys,theyve done my 182 belts twice before with no problem whatsoever. Nice stance on the 200 btw!

I was a member mate...it mustve run out hehe. If that cable tie thing is true,why didnt Renault do something about it?! Its quite a major thing wrong with the car...

Ive gone from £55 a month on my 182 to £88 a month on my 200....not something i thought of hehe.

Yeah hehe,i checked yesterday...my insurance company wouldnt insure me anymore with those mods so i had to change companies quite quickly! I noticed there were recaro seats in before,were they removed?

One rim is quite badly curbed and theres some silver flaking off some other rims - thats part of the reason why im thinking of dipping them black hehe.

I wouldnt say a snapped spring is dubious...one of my eibachs had snapped after a few years through no apparent reason...was revealed during an MOT. Was a hairline crack and i didnt know about it..

Ah ok...its confusing which noise is the exhaust,which is the induction,and what it sounds like totally standard hehe. I found a standard 182 TOO quiet,you could hardly hear the exhaust. Not sure what a standard 200 is like.

What does an induction kit actually do? Increase the bhp? I revealed its beauty when i opened the bonnet for the first time today hehe.
