Dipping the rims black - but sounds a ballache to do,take wheels off, garage to take tyres off, take rims to get coated, put tyres back on at the garage....i suppose its better than shelling out for some speedlines though! Ive been quoted £130 for the rims coated.
Well i finally said goodbye to my Silver 182 ive had for nearly 10 years, and covered around 85K in it. I saw this LY 200 come up on Gumtree and fell in love with the colour when i viewed it. These things look much better in the flesh than on screen imo.
Bought it for £6300 plus my 182 p/x...
I picked up my LY 200 last night...it has an Akra fitted..jeez that thing is loud!! Awesome sound when you dump the clutch....on the motorway at 70 its very loud, even in 6th at 3k.
Yeah,il post some pics up next week. The lad was only 19 years old so was paying £3500 a year on insurance, hence the sale! He p/x my 182 as part of the deal.
Theres some plastic peeled off on the radio head unit volume buttons - is this a common thing? I noticed another 200 with the same thing...
Well....i may have just bought a LY 200 for £6300 (2010,59k) Looks stunning in the flesh and has an 'Akropovic' exhaust which sounds quite nice!
Theyve offered me it for £6300,as a p/x with my 182 - which values it at £600. (2004,109K,Silver)
My 182 has a dint in the bodywork in the passenger side - so im really not sure what the car is worth atm. Without the damage,it would easily be worth over £1000...
I just dont like the look of them - they dont seem different enough in 'sporty' terms for me - if i was going to go more modern id go for a Megane 250 with all the toys, but its out of my budget i think. I just like the more smaller old-skool hot hatches - i may just keep the 182,i havnt decided...
I think £7K is a decent price for a lowish mileage one - i remember buying my 4 year old 182 on 21K for £7.5K
At the end of the day, they are 7/8 year old Clio's,and i think going over £8.5K is a little bit high - never mind £10k.
Yeah tbh neither am i.
Just one final one hehe - looks a nice example at a good price - anyone on here?

Yeah looks a nice colour - although im really looking for a Air Con one.
How about this one - how rare are black Gordinis? At least you dont get the stripes then hehe...

Yeah,it doesnt have the interior does it and all 200's had the angled front bit. Only 7 blue pan roof ones were made according to the heritage page. I hate stripes so its a no no from me.
Looking at this one - any thoughts...
It has the Gordini features though, stripes and the angled grill bit on the bottom front. Im just wondering why its so cheap? All the other 200's have been over £6.5/7 for the same mileage...
Anyone know why this is so cheap? How rare were these 200s with the pan roof,is this a gordini?

And 3 years later i still have her...hehe...109K miles now and just passed MOT. Currently thinking about getting a 200,but this 182 is just so great to drive still.
