I read some recommended settings in a thread on here that a slight bit of toe out and 2 degrees negative camber will give great handling characteristics.
I decided (as the toe out makes the steering feel twitchy) to go with parallel alignment and 1.5 degrees negative camber. I'm massively...
Is there a fix for this? Only had them fitted a week ago and the drivers one seemed to be knocking. Had a quick look under the bonnet, was trying to move the engine (to exclude worn engine mounts from the equation) and my attention was drawn to the knocking of the drivers strut top. It appears...
To be honest I struggled like feck to find a decent 182 over a year ago. I saw all sorts, the worst was in Sunderland that was on 67,000 miles yet Renault Sunderland had put a new engine in on 70,000 miles!
I viewed a fair few, either no V5 or photos taken on the cars "good side" when infact...
True yes, but all the KSC-SW's (irrespective of the last 2 digits) are all 150w so I would buy with caution. Tried to get some settings for mine assuming I was setting it up wrong & found this on meganesport...
I got the Kenwood KSC-SW01 for my Clio and its not really anything to write home about, so if the above are similar then I personally wouldn't buy another.
Its ok at low levels, but when you try to add a fair bit of low end to trance and turn the volume up, it flakes out. Makes a distorted...
Lol, said the same to me whilst pointing out where the welds where breaking on my old system. I'm just a big fan of the Milltek sound though so bought another!
Re: Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project
Thought I'd update it with further things I've been doing. Now it's mostly about maintenance, I knew my Milltek was falling apart and I required a replacement ASAP. Someone was selling one with a BRAND NEW centre section, and the back box section had only...
I got a Swann system from Maplin for £209 on offer which has a 500GB hard drive and two cameras. Will do the loop record function and hold two cameras worth of footage for 60 days. The cameras also have IR LEDs so they can see in the dark, plus you can connect it to your tv or view it remotely...

Did mine the other week,
WD40 door pins, I disconnected battery for safety's sake as the passenger airbag isolation switch needs to be unplugged.
Remove the doorcard, wing mirror etc
Remove door...
Before worrying about a possible head gasket failure, take it for a good, long blast and then re-check the oil cap. Lots of short journeys can cause this build up.
£680 @ BTM all in. Included full cambelt kit, aux kit, seals etc, dephaser, oil & filter and re-sealing my rocker cover aswell iirc as it was seeping oil out.
Today or tomorrow (when I can get another set of hands to help) I need to swap a door on my 182 that was damaged a few weeks ago when it was broken into. I've read a few threads that mention about needing some specialist tools to remove the pins etc that hold the door on. Can it be done...
CSI have been, taken the footprints and there were unfortunately no fingerprints. Police will be coming to speak with myself and my sister (she was getting ready for work, looked out and saw "more than two" people fleeing the scene. I really wish I'd have chased them to at least get a...
There was only a windscreen holder FOR an iPhone 5; no electrical items etc left in the car. So I assume they may have thought it was a sat-nav holder and the sat-nav was in the glovebox.
I am absolutely RAGING:
Attempted break-in at 5am this morning. Alarm scared them off however as I was so comatosed I never saw the damage therefore never gave chase.
The standard Clio alarm will re-arm itself and lock the doors if you unlock the vehicle then don't open any doors - incase you accidentally unlocked it. Clifford's version (if it hasn't changed from many years ago) will lock the car after 30-45secs, whether you have opened doors or not, if you...
