I saw this the other week, Forza Horizon was about £45 on there yet a lot cheaper in the shops.
I assumed with there being no disc, case and manual it would be discounted on XBL.
My 182 is the first car I've had with 'Rain Sensing Wipers' and they drive me insane.
When its only raining lightly, the intermittant wipe is not often enough for my liking so I have to keep clicking the stalk up then down/down then up to clear the screen.
Cue some normal UK rain for which a...
The only issue with the ones that clip to your vents is you need your vents running to get any scent from them.
The California Scents as previously mentioned are quite good if you want long-lasting, although I think they are fairly weak to be completely honest.
I bought a 'Laguna Breeze'...
I've just got the Pioneer DEH-8400BT.
Masses of inputs... bluetooth audio/calling, SD Slot (upto 32GB), dual USB (iPhone/Ipod/MP3 etc) plus an MP3 CD slot if you ever need one!
Best of all the colour scheme I'm using matches the dash. I'll post a pic when I get home.
Did you follow me when Fred did my dephaser & belts as that story sounds very familiar!
Dropped my car off at 10am, he then took me and a friend to the train station, advised us to just pay 20p for a travel permit and to pay the remaining cost at B'ham New Street. We had a wander around the...
I'd go anthracite personally but paint the calipers/Renault diamonds a light blue.
Really want to paint my calipers a light blue & get some blue hoses under the bonnet, I think blue complements silver quite well!
Jeez, I remember cutting into wires on a wired 360 controller then hacking into a spare USB cable and joining wires to do something very similar years ago when the XBox 360 was first released!
Can't remember the name of the driver used to control this 'Frankenstein' controller but it worked...
That's the best way, I looked at a few 182's from garages and walked away from them all as they know next to nothing about the specifics of Renaultsports.
Plus they will not budge on price even though you are much better informed than they are. Buying private from an enthusiast is your best...
The Cup packs are suspension (wider track, stiffer, & lower. Anthracite wheels give it away but anyone can bolt them on and try to blag it is cup packed) and the bodywork (larger tail on the spoiler & front splitter)
I had a Golf MK4 GTi Turbo before I got my 182 and had to learn to drive the...
Re: Ade's Renaultsport 182 Project
Car went to BTM today for dephaser & belts. Turns out the rocker cover was also leaking oil. 7 hours with Fred and the engine is brilliant now, pulling a lot stronger and much smoother.
Due to Fred however, my list of things to buy hasn't decreased but...
Despite my best efforts to gain the support of Donna's Dream House for this meet, I have so far had zero response from them even though I have sent them 2 e-mails and called them 3 times in hope of some kind of reply. This all in the space of 1 week. I've been promised numerous times I would...
I was in the car with bryera earlier and is only does it whilst maneovering the car at low revs. Coming to a stop at lights it's fine. Strangely when it's sat in neutral and we turn the wheel left to right its also fine. The power steering pump seems louder tha mine, but fluids levels are correct.
I agree with the picture quality, mine were bad but I just it might have something to do with running the HDR app aswell as the camera app. There ABJ's besides the HDR.
No, I'm not taking them out. And I could do without the police hassle for the front plate tbh. Cops are anal about plates...
Gave the cars a clean and get some photos. We then decided to go down the lanes to dirty them again. :S
Anyway bryera's photos:
I only got one photo worth posting, trying out a HDR app on my iPhone:
And finally, some noise:
It's back again =\
Had the car to a mechanic friend of mine and all he can find up is a lot of play in the offside bottom ball joint so we have ordered one of those. Failing that I will order a complete Powerflex suspension bush kit for the car and see if that rectifies it.
I am sure we can arrange something, every little helps as they say. I'm just about to ring Donna's Dream House as they have not responded to my e-mail yet.
It will be a night-time event, I won't get out of work until 6pm so I was looking to arrange the meet for maybe 7ish then make our way to the promenade around 8ish.
Another forum I frequent (ExtremeBHP) was going to organise an Illuminations convoy and I thought there would be no better opportunity to raise some money for a charity.
In Blackpool there is a charity known as "Donna's Dream House" which basically provides funds for children with terminal...
I can echo this from experience. Took barely any revs to get my heavy MK4 1.8T Golf rolling but even after nearly 3 months of owning it, I still sometimes bog the Clio down.
Plus I never got the full performance from the Clio at first as I was used to changing gear at 5,500RPM with my Golf...
