Thorough wash, srp to clean it up, then some tough coat to finish. Considering it was an afternoon flick over by hand it's came up...
I'm a fan of the MK3 Meggy 250. They are only plastic stick on bits, and as much as Ive seen Munson and Gally **** it, looks nice and chunky in the flesh, stick on arches an all.
They could have done something similar with the Clio, as it must cost peanuts to tool plastic stick on tat like...

Thinking back years ago (like 10+) you used to see s**t loads of lagunas and pug 406's and the like. Now you never see anything new in that sector from the FrenchFrench in the uk?

I had a set of s**tty gaz units back in the day, and they knocked like f**k (they were new)
I diagnosed them by swapping back to o.e shocks for a few days, surprise surprise the knocking disappeared, then so the gaz units to ebay.
They seize into the carriers, and you will experience crap braking performance
They require the pads stripping, cleaning and refitting. Sometimes the pins will be seized too, which can be pricey to replace. Have a wee search round
