like my picture posted below ( is what I ended up replacing to get the car running ). I went to Renault and got a drivers side but didn't fit. im not clued up on cars but I could be wrong

im not sure what u mean theevilgiraffe but at a guess, I replaced the drivers side driveshaft, the end of the shaft at teeth that slotted into the box/engine.

cheers pal, im not clued up on cars so its a little over my head sorry for the stupid questions, if I wipe the ecu how do I go about that

so if I get it wiped / a new one . id still have to replace the faults with the serv and airbag lights? the lights wont go out because its been crashed?

yes dave I slid into a curb beginning of the year ! the ball joint snapped and drive shaft come out

it was off but put it bk on a wile back!, do I need to replace the ECU? due to having an inpact? under the seats I don't have these connected dose that matter ( what are they for anyways) but the guy did say that the wires going into the grey connectors where thicker on one side than the other...

can someone tell me in a nut shell for a dummy what my faults mean! many thanks been having nothing but problems since failing its MOT and trying to fix it , can someone give me the bottom line on what needs doing to it or replacing to get it fixed. many thanks

been struggling with this issue this week as it failed the MOT, ive looked on the forums and read posts but still not sorted , I put a 3.3 resister on and the light was still on im also unsure what to do with this as the sockets don't seem to fit together very well! the car is a 172 cup but...
