I bought a new stereo today and was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can attach the green parking brake wire to and the black earth wire?

Yeah I now know what the problem is, i tried a different sony head unit and it worked perfectly, so my head unit is going back to the sony centre where i originally had it looked at and was told it was ok.

Yeah but there all infinity speakers anyway and i swapped the speakers with my mates which were prfect in hs car and they still made the noise. Its really confusing that i just cant think what it could be.

I've got this really annoying popping noise when I change a track on my head unit and it only does it through 3 of the 6 speakers I've got (driver's side front tweeter, driver's side front door card speaker and the passenger rear door card speaker). It only does it when I use the head unit cd...

That does sound hard tho. Butt they need to be replaced, cant i unscrew or wrench the speaker grilles off the top?

ok cheers, is there a way of taking the tweeters out through the top of the dash?

Already changed the door speakers thou, so what are the standard size as i dont want to buy a size that is too big or too small?

Anyone know what size the standard tweeters are in a standard 2003 Clio because mine have blown and I want to get some aftemarket replacement ones?

I had the same noise, its the climate control temperature sensor mate which costs about £10 from renault and is a 5 minute job.

Anyone know because I really want one of these on my clio as it would look mint???

So what are the codes for dip beam and high beam?

I think I'm gonna get a K Tec system, like the look of the 182 style exhaust they've just brought out.

ok cheers, thats saved me £350. Think I'll stick to buying a full system exhaust and sports cat.

Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced 4 branch/tubular exhaust manifold from or can you get custom ones because K-Tec and Prima Racing want nearly £350 for one and then I need to get it fitted?

Totally different steering wheel mate, I changed from a Dynamique one to a Renault Sport one. Much better.

Why not buy a new pair from cliospares in wolverhampton and give them your paint code and they'll paint them as well for a bit extra?

Just Change it for a Renault Sport steering wheel then you will still have an airbag.

Been looking into getting an lcd screen to go behind my gear stick to link up with my PS2, positioned over the top of the 2 drink holders (I've got a 2003 Clio by the way) but dont know what size screen to get. I want either a 5.8" or a 5". Not sure though, which do you think would be best out...

Looked alright but it just looked odd as everything was silve, need the black to break it up a bit.

On my last clio which was the same as yours, I had the front bumper, rear bumper, side strips, rear spoiler, door handles and mirror base plates (wrong thing to do I know) all done for £390. Got ripped off a bit though because I didn't shop around which was my big mistake.

Can you polish the dynamique manifold as I'd like my engine cover colour coded (black) but would'nt look right with the black manifold???

Yes its just right, not too loud but very noticeable.

I've got a dynamique with 16" Turinis fitted, need a spare tyre for in the boot. So if I bought another Turini with a tyre would this fit exactly as my spare wheel well is originally for a 15" dynamique wheel?
