Hair Dryer on full heat then WD40 or 3 in one does the trick mate, peels off straight away :cool:

Its not worth the hassle and money m8. Buy an RS, you'll get much more enjoyment then messing about creating replicas. I had a 1.6 dynamique and spent nearly £3000 making it a 172 replica, then realised it would have been cheaper to just insure a real 172 lol. Plus you'll never be happy because...

Can anyone tell me what size bolts i need to bolt the 2 horn brackets together and then the bolt that holds the bracket to the bodywork? Thanks

the boss collar is too narrow for the indicator canceller, seems like there should be an adaptor to bridge the gap but there isnt.

Is there supposed to be a new ring to cancel the indicators with the new steering wheel?

Does anyone know the answer to this if you put in an aftermarket steering wheel?

I don't sorry mate, have put the heat shields back on. Its easy to spot anyway its the only black strip on the underside of the gearstick housing, easily unclips when you wedge a screwdriver in there ;)

Sorted lol, black plastic trim getting in the way of reverse underneath car. Works a treat now. :clap:

Have already tried this, really need to sort this out now. Starting to get really frustrated :mad:

Doesn't solve the problem though, really need to know how to fix this.

Fitted a B&M quickshift to my 172 ph2 today, thought it had all gone well until i tried selecting reverse. Don't understand why i can't select reverse, all i know is that when you pull the sleeve up to select reverse, the underside of the gear stick hits the right side of the plastic housing...

I had a cup spoiler before on a 1.6 16v and ended up having to buy v6 struts, I just wanted to know how come the spoiler on a 172 cup doesnt hit the aerial, must be something different. Maybe Renault changed the position of the aerial or they've got shorter struts?
