Anyone else seen it? Iceberg 172 on 'Dont tell the bride'. The grooms car.
Mate, if your on here, I genuinely feel sorry for you having to marry that bridezilla. You've got a longer fuse than I have!!
I think the main problem with the 200 are the reviews its got. After reading some of them, I wonder if they've actually driven the car at all. For example.....
"Enthusiastic drivers will find themselves sitting a little high".
I'm 6.0" on the dot, and I can wholeheartedly say now that I have...
I'm in agreement that 10k is nothing to some folk. but I'm more interested not in the cost, but what you actually get for your 10k and how much it would actually cost to do a detail of this level?
I'm sure some of you would have seen it already......

Seriously, £10,000? What's your thoughts?
I'm on my 4th renault now. Had a 172, 16v, mk3 200 and now a mk4 200 EDC.
Actually hated my 16v to be honest. Had it for a couple of months before I sold it on.
Mk2 172 was ok but I found it horrid on long journeys, mainly due to the driving position.
Mk3 200 was a great car on a nice day...
Its a tough one.
GTA 5 for me. Absolutely brilliant. Even if you've played it on the 360 / PS3, it is well worth getting it again. I would have chosen FARCRY 4, but the story and ESPECIALLY the characters just aren't as involving or, quite frankly, as interesting as those in number 3. I also...
I've just got rid of mine. I had a GW 200 with cup chassis, speedlines and recaros. The recaros are a MUST. I'd deffo give the actual 'cup' a miss. Even my 200 with cup chassis was a bone-shakingly hard ride, I dread to think what the 'cup' is like. Unless you spend your entire life on track...
They've all had a 'review in progress', even though the games have been out for ages. This tells me that the developer has stopped them from giving a proper review Until they've sold loads of copies.
Not really. There's plenty of folk who love the look. Read back through the comments on this thread. Its certainly no F40 looks-wise, but IMO the sport looks better than a lot of cars about at the mo.
It still is though. My clio is heavier than yours, but the extra power / torque means its faster. We aren't in the 90's anymore and manufacturers have to meet ever stricter safety regulations, which usually means making cars heavier. I'm afraid gone are the days of a tin can on wheels with a big...
I think its a good step up from a mk3 200 and equally a good step into fast renaults if you're new to them. The only criticism I have so far is that the speakers are a bit pants, but for me personally, as long as I can get LBC on the radio, I'm a happy chappy.
I agree with the looks. They look far better in the flesh than in photos. I think they have a good road presence aswell, including the lower spec models.
