Best bet would be to find someone breaking a 1*2 on eBay tbh. Most people bin it straight away or like mine, don’t get purchased with one fitted

With regards the rear brakes, I’ve got screen shots on my iPad, can’t remember who posted it, where 197/200 rear calipers had been used on a 1*2. All that needed doing was a bracket making for the abs sensor. I’ll have a search see if I can find the thread

The silver will go gold eventually, I did mine silver. Then they got hot on a trackday and went gold, but not Gold Member gold, just a tinge

I used to commute in my 172 for a while, can’t say I miss it - bucket seat, harness, no radio, no carpets, cage, no a/c. Was rank, apart from on fridays. Always seemed amazing on a Friday! Was alright on fuel, just didn’t like sitting in traffic much.

I put an inlet manifold in the oven once, stunk the house out for days. When I repainted one I found a corner of the garden on a warm day and hungry it from a bungee chord, let it bask in the sun then sprayed it, just used a hair dryer then. imo it came out better than the oven! DId the same...

Take the silicon’s to any good fabrication workshop/tube bender and they would be able to replicate it.

Need a reccomendation on some wheel cleaner, wife’s wheels on the mini have loads of caked on crap. Scrubbed a fair bit off with a microfiber cloth and neat shampoo, but still rank. Heard of ironX being good but is it the best? Ta
