You must have the special brembo pins. Think the guy who does them is on 197.net might be Mr pink? I'm not sure don't quote me haha. I'm sure he'll sort you out. The brembos normally have pins that need thumping out and are a right pain haha.
Got to be honest I really don't see the 197 as competition on track or road. I've driven both hard and the 182 is much quicker and more responsive. The 197 has 6 gears, more livable daily. Mpg isn't anywhere near as good as a 182 though, I also prefer the clutch and steering on the 182. The 197...
I'm thinking it's more to do with all the s**t in the radiator and everywhere else. I think you'd be better doing a few full flushes through to get rid of all the crap first
Honestly mate he's absolutely colossal for the clios. Does thousands of them. He's in fact just bought a 200 edc purely to develop a map. He's excellent. When I've been in 3 times there's always been multiple 1*2 in for mapping. He's dear though!
Rs tuning is around 300 quid. Worth every penny though. Don't doubt Paul he must have mapped 1000 clios. He really is a Renault man. He's incredible with them.
Ah good. You'll be looking to change the dephaser too and I'd go for a new waterpump without a seconds hesitation. You're looking 650 750 from a specialist probably. Well worth doing though!
It is pretty good. Would much rather see a car that's been correctly mapped and then fitted for a proper result. I got 11bhp from a map so that'd put the inlet at 9bhp increase from my results and his above
