Yeah, does the pedal stiffen up with the engine off after a few pumps on it?
It could also be they need re bleeding. After bleeding them once and driving it about they can need re bleeding.
Try taking it for a drive and bedding them in properly. Mine felt exactly the same when I put the...
A 197 won't make that much break horse on accurate rollers. Not standard (without cams etx)
Our 197 with milltek exhaust, ktec induction kit and after a full rs tuning remap made 195 and that was considered good by Paul at RS Tuning
Ktec is renowned for optimistic figures
Oh and get the Bracket back around the highly stiff powerflex bushes you'll be putting in there and then get the bolt back through. It's a rite b*****d
Noise and vibrations is part of the new mounts. Let them bed in for a thousand miles or so. It could be that perhaps inadvertently the throttle body needs a clean if it's sticking perhaps.
The flywheels on these don't seem to hang onto the revs for too long to be honest, so they're normally...
You haven't broken anything stop worrying.
It could just be you've gotten used to it being a certain way and now it's a changed it feels odd.
Did you put the dogbone in the correct way? Any pictures of the mounts in situe that you've fitted?
Mine have been similar.
I uprated to megane brembos and mintex pads. f**king horrendous squealing.
Get them bedded in correctly and really get them properly hot. Then just road miles. Mine sorted themselves out after about 500 miles
Yeah can't see why you sanded them [emoji15] sheeeeett. You wanna bend them into place and get the metal clips in taking note to get them the correct way around.
They aren't actually necessary really tbh. Some people in certain cars don't use them. They do have adhesive on them anyway.
The...
Btw do I need a flanged nut? Think that's what it's called that's like got the integral washer type s**t or will just a decent m8 nyloc nut suffice?
(I'm new to this car s**t) don't want to do the wrong thing haha.
They're all risking it.
If they're owned by your average dick then they won't want to spunk X amount on a cambelt for something they can't even see or feel. It's proper preventative maintenance and people don't see the value of that.
Someone else thus buys it and the chain continues. You're...
It's 100000 percent the dephaser. Cannot possibly be anything else. Do the water pump and obviously coolant too at the same time. Not worth leaving it out tbh

Bit of a weird one, but does anyone know the bolt and nut size of the bolt that goes into the Bracket and secures the Bush on the outer section of the front ARB?
Thanks,
Toby
I have a graph of my car with a ktec induction kit, Scorpion cat back with janspeed ktec sports cat and a map from RS Tuning a few months ago so will get a direct comparison to what difference this will make!

I've already been in contact with RS TUNING and should be getting mine fitted and my Map tweaked to suit sometime in may. Can't get over atm too busy with fecking work!

It's probably an air leak. Has the inlet plenum recently been off? Are all the hoses plugged in? Throttle body not sticking?
