If the airbag has actually gone off I think you have to get the airbag ecu reset, regardless if you've sinced changed the seat. Just try the resistor.

Sorry... I have the 98Ron map, and my emissions light still comes on. It would appear there are different versions of the map I would imagine when you remap it resets the ecu, wiping fault codes thus turning off the light. Whether it comes back on or is dependant on the map version actually...

Not true. map has no affect on the light. You can however reset the fault codes so it goes off. Will eventuality come back on though. Mine comes back on after around six months so just do it again.

Ah I didn't realise your unlock code was valid on the unit even if someone else subsequently locks it to their car? I just assumed once you'd unlocked it once that was it, if you lent it to someone else and they used it you had to repurchase an unlock code to get it back to yours again?
