He loves an essay does Chip! You made it sound like it was a sealed bearing, not an open bearing behind a seal
anyway, keep on writing, i'd be surprised if the letters are still on your keyboard ;)
rear shocks - £45 each new from Renault (must be genuine, non genuine are too long and make the car handle crap!)
rear wheel bearings - £30 a side plus 1 hour labour, or new rear discs and pads £110 from Renault (come complete with bearing pressed in) plus 1 hour labour tops
emissions possible...
EDIT, that video doesn't really show sod all LOL, everything looks fine apart from the clip @ 1.42 will probably hit the engine block!
which bit are you have issue with? The outer CV by the disc?
you haven't said what problem you have yet!
if the red light is stuck on the dash its not the ECU
it could be the following
the battery in the key
3 x fuses in engine bay fuse box (5amp, 15amp and 30amp, just change them anyway)
or it could be the 3 x small relays inside the engine bay fuse box
I've always wondered what metallurgy process can possibly happen with "running in cams" 2000rpm for 15min will do diddly squat to them, as will 50k miles (with decent oil changed regularly!)
My record is 23min to do all 4 corners, but i still charge 1 hour labour
where some places get their prices from is beyond me! £160 is a ripoff! I though SWR were Renault specialists not con-men!
