Going by that, replace the pre-cat lambda or question the catalyst itself (doubtful though), the post cat lambda wouldn't cause your car to fail any MOT as it really does very little.
Did they get the engine really hot before testing? Or was it sat around for ages before they did the emissions...
I've got a Momo 280mm fitted to mine... It's great! I'd recommend a 300, gives the right balance of a smaller wheel and the ability to steer quickly that the larger wheels don't give you, which is more handy on track than when using it as a daily really, but I'd personally not go larger than...
I'm not all that clued up on modern turbo setups to be honest, but grew up with the old RS Turbo's, R5 GTT's etc...
Chances are yes, there will be a sensor that is detecting that too much excess air is in the system I expect, and will cause the ECU to cut the boost off to a safe level, which is...
You need the valve fitted at least until you get an original to replace it! Running without can cause excess boost pressure and if continually run can cause long term issues. So re-fit the valve ASAP.
You able to post a picture of the valve you have? As I'm guessing its a "dump valve" that...
No worries, if anyone does need any help just give me a shout and I'll be happy to organise something and maybe get a few other groups involved from facebook from nearby areas.
Yeah that's blocked up :) I have since actually solved the problem. Turned out it was the throttle body itself. Fitted a used genuine Renault one from a friend's spare engine and it's transformed. No more cold start problems, no more idle issues and it's great when cold and warm now rather than...

Yeah... Plugs, leads, injectors and also check the throttle body itself. Probably nothing major, but a bad map file could also cause a misfire but doubtful.
Hope you manage to sort it....
I have a obd scanner, no fault codes stored.
And I wanted to replace the sensors and parts anyway to future proof the car, for peace of mind. Live data showed the lambda wasn't reading within its limits, so replaced that, and also that the CTS was reading too warm from initial start up too...
Another thing I've noticed is that the ECU does not have it's metal case, nor does it have the bracket that runs from the case down to the front slam panel. Anyone know what this bracket is for? Is it an earth? Or is the ECU earthed in a more direct way?
Wondering if anyone can help...
I have a Clio 172 phase2, however I am struggling to get to the bottom of a recent problem.
When the car is cold, it struggles to idle and the revs bounce up and down and if you use the throttle then back off the revs drop down and 9 times out of 10 it will cut...
Okay that didn't seem to make a big difference, although it definitely works better than the non genuine part.
One thing I have noticed though, is the vacuum pipe from the inlet down to the acoustic valve under the passenger headlight has been cut and blocked. With it un-plugged, the idle etc...

Okay removed my non-genuine CTS from euro (haas) and have now fitted a genuine Renault one. Letting it cool down before I test how it performs during cold start.
Lambda sensor is also being replaced tomorrow for a Bosch one, as live data readings are as low as .70 changing to .510 and .730 when...
