O2S11 is pre-cat lambda
O2S12 is post-cat lambda
Those readings are very similar to mine, however I'm running a de-cat! (second sensor shows nothing as the information it's reading is identical to the first). How does the car run? And idle? If you delete the code, and it returns then you've...
Get the car hot, and then take a photo of the O2 sensor readings at idle, and at a steady 2000rpm (if you can)...
I'd guess it's the O2 levels that are 7% too high... The pass figure I think is (max allowed) 0.300 so 7% over that is quite a bit, which COULD point to an empty catalyst, but could...
Lambda controls it really, as that is where the ECU gets it's emissions data from and then adjusts the fueling accordingly, the post-cat one doesn't matter so much. If money is an issue, you can try swapping the two lambda sensors over if the first one has failed and the second one is...
Get the MOT Tester to do the emissions check first, and give it a good 30/45 minute drive on dual carriageways/motorways if you can to get the cat/exhaust as hot as it is going to get, and all the sensors to be fully functioning as they should as well. Allowing it to idle, even when showing the...
If it's been sat for a year the first port of call would be fresh fluids and to check all your belts and pulleys regardless of history.
It does sound like a pulley of some kind that's running dry, you may have to get the long screwdriver out and do some stethoscope diagnostics to pin-point the...
Looks nice Jamie :)
For those of you who haven't signed up - please search our group on facebook, we've just had our first moors run of this year, and it was a great success with just under 20 cars in attendance! :) But we need more local members. Future events are a dyno day, a summer moors...
Could be lambda failing, even without a light. You'll need to check the live data if you can however the fact it's using more fuel would suggest a pre-cat lambda issue.
Did they test the car once it was fully warmed up? If the car isn't FULLY up to temperature then that can effect the emissions...
Over the weekend the local Renault facebook group I run (Rensport) went out for a Moors Run, photo shoot and then found a pub for food and drink afterwards. Was a great day, despite the weather being a little rubbish but everyone had a good day which was the main thing.
Think the wet weather...
Could it be lambda related? Where it switches from the cold map to the warm/hot map? Try to check the live data when cold, even if there is no warning light - could be flooding the engine when cold, or just as easily be starving it of fuel too depending on what the ECU is being told to do.
Double check the trackrod supplied is correct... Also if it was fine before, can I ask why did you replace it? Fitted correctly?
I would fit the old one back and see if there's any improvement, if so then the track rod is your problem if not - 100% something else. However if it's pulling that...
I wished I had bought an R26 when I had my Inferno 225... There are only a few noticeable differences, but they make a big difference. As Danith says though, there are loads being broken currently as they are simply worth more in spares than as a whole car. But this in turn will push prices up...
RC5+ are currently on offer on KTEC's website (you've probably already seen them but thought I'd mention it).
Planning on getting a set for mine before this years track days. As for a review, I can only comment on the DS2500 the same as you've got lol.
Does indeed look nice, but there's a big difference between a V6 and £7k lol. I'd say the Trophy would be the next step below a V6, even though they're still fetching a price that is far too strong for what they actually are IMO. Try and flog him your 1.2  lol
I'm talking about hearing the noise of the fuel going from the tank to the front... The leakage is probably that the return is blocked, but on a forum no one is going to be able to help much really. It needs looking at rather than multiple guesses. OP - I'd take it to a garage or phone the...
A small amount is normal, however it shouldn't keep "priming" endlessly. I'm not too clued up on the clio fuel systems, could be a ventilation issue/return feed blocked? Hopefully someone else can offer some advice on this. If in doubt though, maybe worth getting a trusted garage or local...
Do you mean before you crank the engine? You need it to prime before cranking otherwise you won't have as much fuel at the injectors to fire up smoothly.
Check that both pads are making good contact with the discs, that nothing is sticking on or that one side looks more worn than the other. Ensure the calipers are working correctly, and also that the pads themselves aren't contaminated by anything. Chances are the sliders are seized or sticking...
Is the judder still there since changing the rings?
If it's only the light that comes on with the brakes, could it be an earthing issue? UCH? Do you have access to a ramp where you can take all the wheels off and then test wiring to each sensor to see if it isolates the fault to one corner?
The pipercross filters are also made of foam where as the K&N ones are cotton but it should work fine... I've never had to clean any of the foam filters I've had in the past, just get an air line on them (but not too close as you can damage them) and blow off any dust etc trapped in the...
