@Ricardos looks mint! I think I’m in the minority of liking the red caps, but it looks great in black! All that’s missing imo is the rear led lights. I’ve added them to mine and they make a massive difference to the rear look of the car, and yours is half facelifted already!
Oh and definitely...
Fitted a new windscreen wiper mechanism today after the old one started to seize up and while trying to strip it down and grease it up broke the mountings 🤦🏻. Nice to use wipers again!
Hi Rob, car looks lovely and your plans sound brilliant too!
a res delete coupled with a 2nd cat delete will open the sound up.
a ph2 intake pipe or similar is a good mod as is the cold side pipe replacement. Seeing as your climate is warmer than ours it might be worth changing the cold side...
See that’s why the odyssey blue was a good keeper, no clock to worry about!
like the dci and look forward to seeing what you do with it! Some 172 wheels would look good.
Very very good. The later ones from 2015 on had a better software for the gearbox as standard, but the early ones can have an update added by Renault for about £60-70 which improves it no end.
Bottom radiator clip likes to rust and fail, electrical gremlins from a duff battery but that’s about it I think. (I pray!)
They are really good cars and look amazing with a few mods. And as said above no one really expects them to move quite the way they do!
EBay, there are a cheaper set that I purchased which fitted ok and the more expensive diamond performance ones.
Both just fit over the original badges and look a lot better.
@karlos0891 oh wow that’s a great idea! I’m not sure why either. Led bulbs in the front helps with seeing stuff, but the back is still very dark. I’ve fitted a sunglasses holder to the drivers side, meant cutting the roof liner but after doing that I won’t be cutting the roof liner again!
Well thanks to @karlos0891 I got a ph2 intake and fitted it. It’s a larger, smoother pipe which matches the turbo intake in diameter. Can’t say if it’s any different, but there is less restriction so must be a worthwhile mod just to improve air flow.
also fitted an updated Intercooler pipe from...
although technically not a car spotted but went past an accident repair centre tonight local to me and it had these two, plus a capri and another classic ford! Brilliant to see.
No, I’ve got the bits again, but I think it may be my laptop. I might give it a go if I can borrow a laptop from someone. Really want it done but I’m not paying £175 for it!
How is this for a conversion?
