I'd post a wanted on here & Facebook for a good condition shell, should get a fantastic one for £1,000 as you'll have your pick of cars with belts due.
How bad is the damage to both cars?
Got my two delivered from Argos on Friday and noticed eBay prices had dived, so walked out of Smyths on Sunday without the third only to get home and find two had sold on eBay for £130.
Muttering swear words, I fired up the SNES emulator with my 4 year old who fell in love with Donkey Kong...
Clio is pretty strong anyway, it'd be low on my list for the odd track day so if that way inclined, I'd go for an eBay cage.
If it's a proper full time track car, then I'd be putting a full cage in and not using it on the road due to the safety compromise.
I expect that your exhaust was made by the bloke who does the PMS ones as they use a company near Dan, so the quality will be perfect.
Hope you get it sorted and loads of respect to Rhys for fitting you in despite his schedule!
When they came out it felt like they all had the stripes, but now very few have them! I believe it was an option.
iPhone depends on the headunit, TunerList needs a connects2 and UpdateList just a cable.
So, could you spend the £700 a year on something more important? If the answer is yes, sack off the Clio
Consider, in the 9 months it's sat broken, you could've saved 50% of the cost of buying another.
@Rojer I went to STS in Bedford, Chris @ Beanie recommended them and the tyre place in Flitwick - They also did my Cup which was perfect.
I've got the whiteline on mine but would go for the PMS if I hadn't, I've got new standard top mounts.
It feels much better than it did, still not as good as my Cup did but far better than it was. I found an old post of @NorthloopCup's and went for that, think 2 degrees of camber.
Not really had a chance to drive it properly yet as not been on track but it's better on the road than before...
I didn't understand how the bolts work either, but when having it set up at the weekend he showed me, you turn the bolt and it moves the camber position!
Couldn't believe how simple it works.
Rare trip out today to finally get the car aligned properly, went for STS in Bedford.
Car goes really well now and is a lot of fun. Hoping to squeeze in a another trip up to Oulton before xmas
Wait a few weeks and the track car owners start considering getting rid and you save a lot of money.
Or just buy a Westfield http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WESTFIELD-SE1-EXCELLENT-LOW-MILAGE-CAR-/263177194648?hash=item3d46954c98:g:syMAAOSwtS1ZpwLJ
@Dr Jekyll Wasn't it obvious that I was thought the photos were great? Did you miss my follow up post on the CSOC thread? You have a habit of making classics like your fake wheel video which I also shared to CSOC.
Yep, went last week. It's now in Newport
I've got 3 reserved, thought only 2, but Smyths confirmed one much later after trying to do it on their website.
Had intended to keep 1 and pay for it with the other.
Have since tried a SNES emulator and not sure if even worth keeping one for the nostalgia

Guess you can make a decision on whether it is worth it to you to start a claim against him. Depending on what he's cost you elsewhere and if you can get someone to say the work wasn't correct.
If there is nothing left and no assets then yes. Just look at Can't Pay on channel 5, small payment plans and years to pay any compensation award.
However, it's possible he does have assets, who knows? There is no business or tools left so no assets there, he could have a house to get a...
Like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Steering-Rack-Tie-Rod-Knuckle-End-Track-Axial-Joint-Removal-Tool-28-35mm-/361899566849 make sure you get the right size, I've not checked.
