Actually I was told the smaller port 182 head is the better option.. (by someone who did a lot of research into f4r design and building optimum engine)
I don't know enough to know why though.
Unfortunately not driving this time round just fuelling/spannering.
Hoping to get a go in one this season though as looks great fun!
Nothing but bad things about you.. car on the other hand ;) haha
Was talking to JJ about your car during the 24hour at Rockingham this weekend! Small world. Looks great as ever looking forward to seeing this out racing soon!
Cool thought iy was Oreca.
They have seemed to be a good fit from what I've seen
Agree with the above unless you go T45 then eat your heart out or intend to go rallying.
The least amount of bars that is still safe gets my vote especially with the added pickups to suspension!
Personally I'd stick with standard bottom end and just get the head done with cams itbs etc cheaper rebuilds then and will see 220ish.. is an extra £2k+ worth it for another 15bhp on a good day?
Used mine yesterday at Combe
Bedded them in during qually and were spot on.
Only managed to lock up once totally driver error. Prefer them massively over RC6 much less grabby, lasted the whole season no problem.
Very impressed for the money.
I'm due to race on these on Monday so Will let you know how they compare to RC6.
Hoping they are a bit more progressive and don't need much bedding in mind haha!
