Two spots on the way to work today:
Trophy HV55*** coming down Potternewton Hill as I went up - see this one regularly but not got the plate before
NJ51*** Iceberg 172 with oval (sausage-shaped!) exhaust - you know who you are, I followed you down Scott Hall Road in Iceberg Convoy. And it...
When did RS stamped inlets come into production? ie which models have them?
And can you tell whether your inlet is stamped insitu on the car or do you have to remove it to see?
Considering this...
cheers
Student? I thought you were a panel beater/mechanic?!
Your solicitor should be able to offer you the best advice tbh, but I'd fight it through the insurance.
Bullshit, job done in 45mins on me tod.
1. Drill 9 holes (4mm drill), one between each cutout and two at each corner. I used a tab of masking tape in each place to avoid any splintering.
2. Jack up one side of the car and axle stand
3. Lie under the front, offer up the splitter and clip or...
p4ers - weird, my new CF splitter arrived today and I ordered Silvervisions last night..... Had a look for a guide on indicator swaps but to no avail and was just contemplating asking here!
So cheers :)

Mine's just arrived - just before I drill anything, the side of the splitter with the U-shaped cut-outs is the top bit that screws into the bumper isn't it? :o
Don't wanna be the first plank on CS to mount it upside down! :clown:
Mine's just arrived - stoopid question I know, but before I drill anything, the side of the splitter with the U-shaped cut-outs in the top bit that screws into the bumper isn't it? :o
Don't wanna be the first plank on CS to mount it updide down!
For a private sale, without it you'll a) get less interest in the first place (remember the market's dead anyway) and b) you'll get knocked down on it anyway.
Get it done.
Surely the "he was doing 20, I was doing 30" vs "I was doing 30, he was doing 40" is just his word against the other, irrespective of the speed limit.
Besides, if the other guy was doing 20mph and then pulled out without looking, he was probably texting at the wheel.... ;)
Ouch. Gonna have to be ultra careful once mine's on. You wouldn't think you normally come that close to scraping the bumper would you?
(not you Fubar ;) )
They do exist, there's a specific Clio II part number on here
