I was going to get the map but a lot of people said you would get sick of it. I see there point, yer it would be fun but after time it would be annoying.
Had mine for about 5 months and as much as I look at other cars I can't find another which will be as fun or as good on fuel as the clio in the same price bracket, love the revvy engine too.
It really does depend how you drive your 182. A mix of Coasting and going at about 45mph in a 15 mile journey I got 47 mpg. Average is around 32 but that is driving it how I want and not minding about fuel economy. Had it lower than 10 but doesn't stay there long with it been average.
Was meant to say something else, iPhone autocorrect. I love the clio and tbh I find this forum alot more active and fun than some of the ford forums. Just saying I personally haven't taken to the clio like I did with the fords. Maybe to do with them been first cars etc.
I am a ford fan and just recently moved to having anything else which is my clio 182. The clio is such a fun car but for some reason there is no real passion like there is with the past fords I have had.
You see I learnt by going out and taught by my parents. Only took 5 or so lessons and passed first time. Have mates that have done 20 lessons and at £25+ ago it soon adds up. Guess it depends on each individual. Just curious if it would be a killer on insurance, only way to find out is to call...
Not sure if this is a great idea but looking at letting a "learner" drive in my 182. Has anyone else ever done this and how did they find the insurance?
I can see a lot of comments on this been a bad idea lol
Well I changed the rear shocks on Saturday and what a difference!
The rear drivers side shock was totally gone, could operate it with your hand and just pull it in and out.
Thank you for all your help, now have a clio that can corner safely and much quicker!
Thank you for your reply and link to eBay. They do work out cheaper so will go with them!
It says not ideal for car lowered. I understand that from factory they are not designed to be used with different springs but should be ok?
Any idea on prices? Trying not to chuck a lot of money at the car as I have done that in the past and to be honest they are good cars as standard.
Gone past the low stage, want performance and handling ideally.
Thanks
Yer think as the car is still fairly new to me I will get all tracked and aligned up. Also will probably change the rear shockers seen there is a bit of leakage.
Anyone recommend some good ones, any idea how much from Renault?
