I havent done much mileage really apart from the commute to work, one thing thats improved is the geadbox, just feels tighter.
completely different car id say, im yet to 'chuck it about' but it feels a lot larger (obviously) but so far its not as lardy as i thought ut would be
i just thought...
Ahh
because my mate from newport said theres a modified one flying around down there
Its standard bar a k&n panel filter and braided lines
in my head i got breathing mods and a live map
will see over 300 then :)
but thatll be in the future
Standard for now
Sorry lol
behind tony down by mcdonalds in newport
That other white 182 over took me in a stupid place (crumlin shell garage) driving like an idiot
nah ive sold my clio :(
got a focus instead
Sorry for the hijack, but would it be the thermostat that means my dci takes an age to register a temperature on the gauge and even on my 45 minute commute it only sits at a 1/4 of the way up?
Or would it be the sensor?
Thanks
Just throwing it out there, i dont know how wrong i am,
I think its the K9K engine? (bear with me lol) thats these dci's use
Things like the nissan qashqai etc use the same engine but have some bigger power variants
could these injectors be made to work?
Or am i that far wrong im about to look...
Ill miss the LY at the meets/shows etcBut it just felt like it was time for a change
Still hanging around/paying my membership here
You havent got rid of me that easily lol
I have a dci 65 as a daily too and have looked into getting a little more power
The general gist i can gather from other members is that the injectors are a limiting factor as there isnt a suitable upgrade or them at the moment restricting max power to around 120 bhp? Or something like that...
You dont understand, when it comes on boost its a different animal this DCi
lol
Put a deposit on a new car yesterday
didnt take me long to get over the clio lol
Just to let you know, my LY has now gone :(
Friend of mine turned up with the cash and the deal was done
Still keeping the lil van as its one of the best things ive ever bought lol
im yet to challenge matt to a drag race down queensway meadows lol
Hes had a few lucky escapes ;)
Ill have to...
Right a random one here......
on my boring commute i get thinking lol
i have a spare full set up of 182 suspension, i realise the bolt spacings on the hubs are different,
so, will sport hubs fit a non sport and if they do will there be any issues with bolting caliper etc to it?
and is there...
I bought a recon off ebay for £30, most offer a years warranty and mines been great for around 2 years
if you get it repaired 4 times at £30 your still in pocket
i highly doubt itll break 4 times lol
When my resistor pack went the fan wouldnt blow at all, to see if its the resistor at fault, remove the resistor pack
and on the connector to the pack there are 5 pins that are numbered, if you bridge the connection between 1 and 5 the fans should blow at full speed indicating a faulty resistor pack
Cant believe i havent seen this, same colour as my old Car, miss it :(
I had the supersprint race exhaust on mine, sounded the nuts, but i bought the 182 before i got round to getting a manifold on it :(
Ill be owning another i can see it
Im thinking about a Focus RS
im in no rush to buy anything as i have the van
But dont worry guys, im not leaving the forum lol
theres always rejects corner as CSS lol or ill bring the van
im a little puzzled at this one, sometimes i get in the van and the heaters dont work, no fans at all, then i went to investigate over the weekend and they worked fine, but now stopped again?
would this be a resistor pack based issue?
thanks
