If im honest, still to this day im iffy on the look of the xenons, look a little 'angle eye'
but as said when they are 'on' they look miles better and the bi-xenons when driving at night are great
Had the car for just over a year now so thought id do a little write up on the progress.…
I used to have a LY182 which i absolutely loved (still miss it)
but things started changing, i got a new job and just felt the time was right to get the RS i wanted since i was 13, so i already...
I'm slowly getting the focus sorted, should be out in April easily lol,
wouldn't mind a rolling road day, I went to power station with a jap four and was a decent day
I'd be interested in popping along, I'll be putting the RS back on the road soon so should be able to make a meet/drive, or I'll just bring the 1.2 lol
I just saw you in asda lol i was in my mates Focus.
yeah i see your car turning into Clydach as im
on the drive home from work
car looks/sounds awsum mate!
Sorry i meant silicone, took the full lot out, scraped off the old seal on plastic frame, watch your hands its sharp lol, clean the suface where it going to stick, and then i put a line of silicone around the plastic on the outside and rubbed my finger across it to make it neat
any that goes...
I thought my turbo was leaking oil
bur i traced it back to the cam sensor too, few pence for a new O ring and jobs a good one,
i see you got the audiophile sub in the boot? Big difference over standard?
In the guides section it shows you how to seal it yourself, not hard at all, it cost me a fiver of silicone sealant from B&Q
Took about an hour or so, no more wet seats in the mornings :)
Interesting to see this, not many people have this fault, i have the same fault but my cheapy code reader cant pick anything up,
im going to get a garage to plug it in with more specialist diagnostics to find the problem
Theres a good little guide in the guides section,
fiver of silicone from b&q and an hour or so of time and it hasnt leaked since, glad i did it when i did before this bad weather
Strange one this guys,
as the title says, when i turn my light on the clocks fail to illuminate, the mileage shows and the other symbols on the clocks light up such as headlights on light
But the rest fails to light up, ive checked the fuses and all are ok
any ideas?
thanks
Adam
Cheers mick
ive done the dash test which illuminates all the lights,
and now looking the ABS warning isnt lighting up, so im assuming the previous owner has blacked out the warning light,
would a basic code reader be able to pick up ABS faults or would it be a more specialist tool?
thanks
Adam
Hi guys, ive had a search and couldnt really find much, apart from oil level but ive topped that up
just the serv light is illuminated on my 1.2 non sport, no abs, esp airbag light, just the serv light
ive plugged my code reader in and its not finding any faults amd when you try and clear it...
