From a South Central point of view, I'm not too fussed on whether places like Gloucestershire or Dorset fall into South West or South Central, it shouldn't really matter as people will just head for their nearest meet, but if South Central does grow to include those new places then it will need...

If you're going to sub-divide a region perhaps it's worth suggesting some towns/locations where regular meets might take place? It's all well & good saying Dorset & Somerset should be a sub-region, but take a look on a map and see just how many miles that covers from one corner to the other.

Sunglasses_Ron I appreciate I'm probably asking too much but is there any scope to create completely new regions? For example, west Dorset could be classed as South West or South Central but doesn't fit well in either.

What about places like Weymouth? Dorchester? Blandford Forum? Lyme Regis etc?

In my opinion South Central is easily divided into 2 areas: Coastal - Portsmouth/Southampton/Bournemouth M3/M4 - Reading/Bracknell/Basingstoke Although I'm not sure where Oxford & Banbury fit in. Perhaps a third area is required? South Central (north)?

I disagree. As others have suggested, there is significant, and damning evidence to suggest that K-Tec are not historically reliable in terms of their mapping expertise. Let us know your location/general area and people will suggest recommended specialists local to you who would be best placed...
