Just gone with brentacre for first time. No charges for modifying anything that doesn't increase bhp, quality!!! They were about £40 more expensive than the cheapest quote I cold find, but as I'll be doing quite a bit to this car thought it'd be cheaper in the long run
The Ph1 seems a bit too wallowy (is that a word?) for my liking coming from a 200 cupped. Would prefer something a bit more firmer, hoping this'll do the trick
Yeah, I was just going to go with default cup shocks and eibach pros.... hmmm, bit of thinking, though I've sort of promised a friend who can get the cup shocks at this cheap price I'd have 'em, and as they're a short term solution if I don't think it's the greatest set up it won't be forever
Interested in this. About to order some pro springs and cup dampers for my Ph1 as an interim measure to do some trackdays before I strip it and get some sorted coilovers on.
Question is, I was going to go with cup shocks (one is leaking so replacing them both/all) as I can get new ones for...
Rare colour, but for that price I'd want a ti exhaust on a .r too. In fact, if I was going to get a .r it'd have to have the ti over the exterior colour for me, sounds simply awesome
I've used the search button, but 2 different threads say different things (one yes, one no)
So, can you easily fit one straight on? Obviously I don't have the cc issue. But I assume airbag can be wired in etc
Thanks
Danny
Got a new tyre to replace the dodgy Chinese one that was on it when I bought it. Now got matching hankooks all round ready to be burned off for something better long term - fun time. How quick can you ruin a new set of tyres?
Absolutely amazing. Another one that didn't know you could get CAT status removed.
Interestingly was there any other deep bronze cars made in Europe? Or is the single one here the most rare now?
EDIT - there's also only one moonlight here, any more abroad?
To be fair you can see the pearl quite well in most lights, hard to capture in photo though, this was a day when the sun was cracking the flags. Petrol stations are also another good one
You take good care of her.
Some more pics of her here too http://s567.photobucket.com/albums/ss112/roystinho/Clio%20200/
Rest assured I looked after it very well. Always warmed up before driven properly, always cleaned by myself, and given a comprehensive detail twice (though probably needs...
I've just got one as a bit of a project. Initially it'll be just trackdays, so not going too extreme. Hopefully after a house move, another child and a few more years I'd love to enter some sort of competition if funds allowed. Maybe some sort of hillclimbing...
It's titanium according to the colour code. The bonnet doesn't feel really heavy, though not lifted one for a few years so hard to gauge when you have no reference.
Cheers guys
It's just a bit more 'raw' for want of a better word. Don't get me wrong the 200 is fantastic, but I'll liken it a bit like the 200 to a 250 megane. 250 is miles faster than a 200, but is less involved, you feel a little less attached. This is the same from 200 to 172, the 200 is probably...
Bit more help. It's an X reg car in sliver. Titanium or Iceberg? Also is it one with the alloy bonnet?
Cambelt done, power flex dogbone mount, new exhaust mount, and now it's feeling much tighter. Gonna fix on some cup dampers and eibach pros after payday after a small leak on a front damper...
Cheers, only had it a week. Bought it to track it, but the garage that just did its cambelt said it was one of the nicest examples they'd seen in years, don't know if I could bear to butcher it now...
Yours looked smart too, did it have a small number plate on?
Today it's going in for a cambelt and also having a powerlex dogbone mount fitting. Still has a dodgy chinese tyre on the rear but gonna sort that out when I get it back
