Seats look great, a matching rear bench would finish it off for sure.
Given the age of them now, i think you should revert back to OEM wheel finish. For me they are starting to look chavvy with the different colour wheels; the Cup was a special so personally think an original look is much...
Great write up, i even got the feeling of nervousness reading it as i recalled my first race! You've explained the whole process very well.
I would say getting thrown in the deep end with the conditions has actually done you a favour. Is this a championship where every round is at the same track?
I think they are very, very handsome cars. Great stealth purchase... but not sure about going further with FWD! Spose it will be funny raping Beemers on the motorway though...
Saw your post on FB...
Still think they are ugly but no doubt eye catching, and in fairness great VFM. You will get so many jealous looks come the next Summer's day with the roof down; the perfect car for the next few months.
Also credit to you for switching cars so often, lol! Its nice to...
Personally think the facelift version in grey is still a very smart looking car. Just with them getting long in the tooth the interior is bound to be shagged. The one thing i can't handle with SH cars!
Vid?
I guess i asked the question because you see a similar theme whatever the car, the car meets shown on here from the States would suggest even the youngsters have $$$.
Was amazed seeing this photo of Underground Racing's (of course, a US based tuner) workshop. All the cars due twin-turbo conversion. Despite the supposed recession, why it does it see like the Yanks have ridiculous disposable income? Or is it simply because there are loads of 'em?
You can only expect so much from your first outings! Congratulations for getting your license and going for it though, respect.
It is a big learning curve. Personally i would find a seasoned racer to drive and set up your car. You are not going fast enough to set up the car properly (presuming...
Surely a supercharged one would not be eligible for the two big E30 championships anyway? I'd certainly be building it to the regs of one of those rather than building what you want to compete in a crappy series of a handful of cars...
I can't remember what series was supporting us at...
Saw your video on Facebook, well held!
I was testing there on Friday, the Pimlico Plumbers sponsored car was out at the same time. Shame we didn't get an opportunity to meet.
The Phantom looks so much better. However, i saw a guy driving one by himself yesterday and he looked ridiculous - too big a car for one person! Definitely should be chauffeur driven only...
Shame its a 5dr, but nice to have a low mileage example.
Don't get why people are bothered by tax, spread over the year it is nothing compared to fuel or depreciation.
