Do your Meister r have the sleeves on them?
I updated the springs on mine back this time last year & added the sleeves to protect the damper & springs from road crap.
Different car but made a huge difference.
I just got a 13 mbp 256ssd, 3 yr ap care & case for £1098.
Don't see the need for 16gb or i7 but the sad makes a huge difference.
If your specing a 13 to £1400+ you would be better off buying a 15?
I just got mine back on Friday, initial quote was about a £1000, one of the other quotes was from someone who worked at the company previous so they matched the lower quote £696.
Finish is 100% I am picky & cannot see any issues :D
Good luck getting yours done, £2k should be doable.
That's Rodders cars ^^^
Phil with the trophy tried his hand at this & won both races in mk1 class at Croft ;)
He has mk1, mk3 & has several mk4's.
Should be at Donny on Mon with his mk4.
Not having a towing eye fitted you run the risk of loosing mirrors, bumper or anything they can wrap a strap round if marshals need to recover car.
I always run with front & rear as have witnessed the other side.
Daft not fitting them?

Been busy recently what with,
Silverstone, Donington, Croft, couple of cheeky Donington evenings, Cadwell & Monday Donny again.
Someone sent me this;
Think his camera cost more than my car!
What editing software do you peeps use?
I remember being at one of these events & an owner banging on about how his car was really low mileage, think 18k at the time.
I did not have the heart to tell him 10K of that minimum was track time
The guy that owned it just used it for track days mainly.
Unless you are successful & at the front no one will pay anything for you or your car.
To be at the front you will need to visit the circuits you are racing at probably the week before.
So if you have £500 race fee your looking at another £500+ for a testday.
Why don't you pay to drive a couple...
