Think I've got the standard airbox still but thats about it - could be useful if you wanted to try modding yourself risk free.
Guy I sold it to didnt even look at it so could have just stripped everything.
Not great, not terrible. Think I averaged about 36mpg in mine motorway/trips to the shop.
How you getting on with it? Mine was in pretty much the same state when I bought it. Spent £££ on coilovers, exhaust, pulley and the rest only to sell it 6 months later lol. Can be expensive things!
Yeah this is the problem with tyres - everyone has a conflicting opinion! I'm only booked in with a local place so can change by end of today. Might ask my mate to pop over at lunch as havent been out in his.
Other option is Goodyear Asymetrics or Pilot-sport 2/3s
Went for the Conti Sport Contact 5s in the end. Thanks @ForceIndia for the recommendation - I put the same question to my friend with a GTD and he also recommended them. Cant wait to try them.
Maybe - I had them on the Clio and they were great. Ive thought it since I bought it so definitely not a one off as temperatures were in the low teens then. TBH it could be the way I set off too - never had a car with quite so much power before. But pulling out at roundabouts there is always...
Its got Continental PC somethings on at the moment with about 6mm of tread and they're f**king awful. Stutter if you pull away even mildly aggressively and really really shite in the corners - if it wasnt for the diff I dont think they would still be on the car.
Rainsports a compromise though?
Not a scene boy mate. I drive 140 miles a day in it so need it to be comfortable!!
Dont get me wrong - good car but I think a little compromised in the fun/wow factor department but then it was always going to be as the good 'all rounder' option of the hot hatchback world.
@TomSx lol not in...
1. So I've been cleared of the insurance debacle. 2. Almost wrote it off today with a cheeky 360 on a dual carriageway.
6000+ miles in now and, tbh, I dont really know what to do. Its a nice car, well built, fast, looks pretty good etc. but it really is very dull to drive or certainly not...
Dont really get your point! If you can spawn into a vehicle why would you sit around and wait? It works pretty well in BF4 - pretty sure you dont see people sitting around waiting for vehicles to spawn.
I am half tempted to get this as I do enjoy it at my friends but it is a bit samey. ANy...
Whatever you do go through Topcashback / quidco - I got £140 after 3 months just for switching to Sky. ABout £40 a month for (s**t) internet currently 2mbps, phone, tv basic as you get.
Cuphead - Reminds me of the visuals from a particularly odd cocktail of Big Ken & Mushrooms. Nice to see something different.
The Division - Because Marc said so / had my eye on it for a while.
Gears of War 4 - Great times on this in the past playing coop. Hope for more of the same.
Homefront...
Ah was just wondering! I had one for 24 hours and it sprung a leak lol.
Lovely car btw and sorry to hear new job wasn't for you (its those Oryx cowboys ;) )
Was there any consideration for trading the F Type in for an XE Supercharged 3.0 V6? 335BHP, amazing noise, well equipped, stealthy etc. or was it Audi alllll day?
