Another quick question - what PCD can the Clio use, is it 35 & 38? And what about the bore etc? Anyone to enlighten me on what specs I should be looking for when purchasing the wheels would be great, what's suitable, what's not suitable etc. Thanks
Only problem with second hand is, you never know 100% what's happened to them. They could have damage, dents, or even internal damage/fractures you would never see - which isn't very confidence inspiring when pushing it around a track. That's my take on it at least.
Think I will go with the Pro race 1.2s, as you said easier to sell on and a lot nicer looking!
Any suggestions for suppliers of good price alloy wheels? Chip-mk1 M.C.. is1
Thanks for clearing that up, makes a lot of sense now lol! So running 205 on 6.5 is okay, but if your running 6.5 your better off just buying 195s, am I correct? Not sure if it's worth the extra ~£130 for the TD 1.2s compared with the cheaper TD wheels, is it worthwhile for the more preferable...
Thanks for all the fast responses! It's just casual track use, but if i'm buying new wheels I may as well go for the best option. I've just realised on the wheels mentioned it does say 8x100/108 though? It does say will fit Mk2 renault clio (could be non-sports..) But surely 8 bolts won't fit a...
Currently run a 172 cup track car with 16" Turinis. Looking to sell the turinis and buy some new 15" wheels to run. I've found Team Dynamics 15" for £259.00 - but the wheel size is 6.5 x 15. The tyres im looking at are either 195/50/15 Federal RSR or 205/50/15 Federal RSR. Would I need a 7 x 15...
Epic car, epic colour, gonna be a beast on track. Surely it will leave the RS2 182 on the straights, as you said with a 150kg weight deficit. Out of interest what bhp/lb ft does a RS2 182 produce? Also how much did the respray in LY cost, it's an expensive colour for respraying iirc?
Again...
Anthracite does look very nice on BG, the colours seem to compliment each other well imo, but after seeing many different coloured 1*2's with plain and simple silver turinis, I'd definitely go for silver as it's so fresh looking.
Yeah that's what I've heard, obviously the Mountune MP165 is 165PS, but I think mountune are generous and under-estimate their packages to be on the safe side. Just really unsure on whether spending £300-£400 on a map is justified! gally any insight into this?
As Gally said in standard from they're pretty different (I've only experienced mine in standard form, awaiting exhaust system to be fitted etc). Standard vs standard the 1*2 is much more of a drivers car, a fair bit faster, a lot more responsive/has more urgency, and in general is a more...
Nice clio, out of curiosity - what does "high compression" actually do, without ITBs? (I know the two things arent necessarily related, just curious of why you would do cams + high compression vs just cams, what difference/gains are to be had?)
Think 5k is a bit optimistic, Williams 2 also being supposedly the least "desirable" (still fantastic though!) I honestly think 4k-4.5k, 2-3 years time it could be worth 5k+ though, certainly won't loose value!
I swear I've done it before somehow? Just can't seem to remember how, I did it only months ago putting all my songs onto my iTunes to then put them onto my current iPhone? Weird!
As title, when I plug my Ipod Touch (1st generation I think, about 5 years old!) in to my computer, it recognises it as a Digital camera?! All i'm wanting to do is transfer my songs from my Ipod to my computer, I can only seem to access the pictures on my Ipod (hence it registering it as a...
^ That flamer looks so nice, especially like the protruding exhaust. I would usually say plain silver as 9/10 it's the best option as it looks so fresh, but having seen a flamer irl and on this thread, I would definitely say anthracite (even if it is done to death)
Yeah I don't really know what % is equivalent to how dark the tint is, but I'd guess 20-35% is roughly where I want to be, and probably what most OEM tints are? I think anything > 60% is probably horrendously dark
I'll be looking to tint the rear 3 windows of my 2008 Fiesta ST, and firstly want to know - obviously it varies, how much % tinting is factory spec? As I want the OEM look.
Secondly, any recommendations as to where to get my window tinted, West Midlands area but willing to travel far enough for...
Considering buying some replica alloys (Mk2 Focus RS style, but in 17" 4 stud to fit Mk6 Fiesta). Found some good (or what looks like) buys on ebay, such as...
Seems a very good price - where are they from?
Good shout - but I just don't fancy second hand wheels, might sound stupid but you don't know what's happened to them! They could have internal fractures/damage that you wouldn't know about
