Im 99% sure I want a 197 as my next car. Already planning modifications! Are the 197s worth camming? What other performance mods are worthwhile? Looking at most likely pre-cat delete, de-cat and yozza cat-back. Not expecting massive power - but 200-210bhp isn't unrealistic for these mods is it?

Does it really feel that slow? :( You've had a couple of trophys now havn't you, dave? How does the 197 compare to the Trophy specifically then? I almost want the thrills of a Trophy in a 197 shell, I just think the 197 looks the nuts! (turbo anyone?!)
So there is a 5k kick with the 182 but not with the 197? Its like that with my Williams, no kick or anything but constant strong pulling - which is good - but almost makes me want to cam it for that 4.5k/5k kick!

Guessing that was second hand? Not a bad price! So if the diffuser comes with the chrome tips on, surely an exhaust system would be behind the tips and would melt the diffuser?
Nice, how much was the diffuser and is it a straight swap to fit? So can the 200 diffuser fit any exhaust system then? Also, nice UR turbo you mate has!

Fair enough - Would chopping out a bit effect the flow/power delivery you reckon? wouldnt want to compromise that, but would prefer the exhaust slightly more recessed!

Ah I see, I think mine is 3.5". Anyone have any idea how to make the exhaust slightly more recessed? I guess the whole exahust system must be different to the original magnex!
Yeah mines a magnex catback, however mine seems a little larger than both yours and Luke's on his valver (which iirc is also a magnex) and mine seems to stick out the back bumper a bit more than both of yours.. any idea of any reason why? The tailpipe could do with being 1/2" or so more recessed...
Love that Luke, almost had that off you when you had it for sale, as you know.. Decided to hold out and wait to be able to drive my Williams.. loving this car sooooo much! These cars are real hidden gems, they aren't appreciated enough!
