Sounds like you're having a rotten time with this, I've just spent north of £1,500 on parts/tyres and have Inspection 2 in 7,500 miles.
Still worth it IMO.
In your list of Mods you have 15mm front spacers (that you sold) and put 12mm on the front?
Were you having problems with the 235 tyres rubbing or was it just purely asthetics?
I'm looking at 15/12 spacers and 235/265 tyres too.

Yeah I can't recall the part number from BMW, but I have it fitted and it makes gear changes really precise and 90% shorter (I think) I also have the club sport gear knob - modernises the interior no end.
The rear diffuser looks great!

Mines lowered 30mm on eibach's, but I'm getting 265 PSS's (instead of 255 M3 contis) next week, haven't got spacers yet but I'll see if the spacers will work without rubbing.

Since advertising it for sale, I haven't had as much interest as Id have liked. Decided to keep it for the time being with the aim to go RWD soon.
Fitted new brakes all round last week and have done 500 miles to bed them in since, much better than the old ones!
And the new brakes, fitted in...
Looks superb, bright silver wheels and less tints and it would be absolute perfection.
One lives up the road from me but he drives it like a complete tool. Plus side is, Sounds awesome!
Would make sense wouldn't it, the IHI turbo is far too restrictive. I don't see why they would bring out the 695 then upgrade the turbo on the 595 so it can get similar power.. Not that I'd complain!
Interesting thought with the turbo changes, tuning potential could be there, if they don't scrimp and save on supporting parts that is..
4 pot Brembos should be standard despite the standard brakes being enough. I test drove a 595 a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't anything overly special...
@Lal B3N - wouldn't say no to a Stronger turbo, where did you find out about this if you don't mind me asking?
It is indeed, quite often go to Queensgate but usually take the train as it only costs a few quid for me.

Didn't actually realise anyone would order a turismo over a competizione.
But yes from what I gather that is correct and its to make the car seem like it has more optional extras. I think abroad you've got to spec the TFT monitor as well.

The 595 has Sabelt Seats as standard with xenon headlights and Monza exhaust, same power as my Esseesee, other than that, it's pretty much the same and I test drove one and I preferred mine. Sure this one is chucking out more than the quoted 160hp.

@Sam I'm considering selling it and getting a new 595 with Xenon headlights, Sabelt seats and Monza race exhaust. I've put it up for sale in two places but If it doesn't sell, I'll probably get the Assetto corse racing exhaust and keep it for a while longer until insurance renewal in July. Still...
