To be honest, these diamonds need keying really well, the coating on them isnt paint is a form of chrome plating, thus it needs a metal primer not a plastic primer. Here we use a very very fine compound in a sand blasting cabinet on low pressures then a metal etching primer, followed by a 2K...
As stated above that will be insurance write off, it will most likely cost more than £650 to put it write yourself, the slam panel and enforcer bar is like £130 on its own for the part, the old one needs cutting out, then the new one welding in properly. Sadly unless the metal work is done to a...
There is no RAL number for an IXELL paint, and the center cap as stated above will be miles off if you power coat them. Unfortunately you wont get 205-110 from a powder coater end of......
We are not far from you......
I just want to 25th, whats been stated above, just refresh all your bushes, rear dampeners, some lowering springs and dont forget your disc's and pads!. Unless you have over 1k to spend on coilies, the stock setup will be fine. I have KW V2's on my clio, and i also have a stock cup with the...
Smart repairs are fail full stop, repair it properly or leave it well alone, if they dont like the repair they could well demand much more work doing, and could cost you more in the end. Where is it on the car? bumper?
We get 1 or 2 people every few months popping in with lease cars etc...
2 , ive removed one by myself without too much bother, but putting it back on by yourself will be very tricky without scratching wings or chipping corners, but im sure its been done. Tape the pointy bits on the bonnet, tape your wings......cover as much as possible if your going to have a go.
Fairly easy job, as stated above. If you have a mate to help you its alot easier. You can adjust the wings and the bonnet. Bonnet is held on with 4 x 10mm bolts, 2 each side, its an art form to get it perfect.
Best bet would be to drop yours off and take a picture, failing that someone else might know. I suspect they are all the same but i cant comment on the cup racer sub frame, i guess it might be beefed up.
Looks good chaps, technically you shouldnt lacquer CF wrap (vinyl type) without an adhesion promoter (such as clear plastic primer sprayed very very thin).
Shades listed depend heavily on the paint system.......unfortunately its a nightmare for all car makes and models. Stick with an IXELL supplier ideally for renault and you wont go far wrong.
Its quite a size really, at the end of the day if you want a proper job you have to pay for it, if you want it to last it has to be properly preped, esp being Alum, etch primer, 2k primer, paint and lacquer, £150 sounds pretty cheap to me, there will be a good few hours in that to prep it...
Whats wrong with T1R's exactly? (seriously) ive always run them on all my cars including a Supra turbo and never once regretted the performance considering they are a reasonable price for a mid range tyres. You cannot compare them to the tyres double there price......

The beginnings of painting the FF Racing & Spray Shack Bonnet......so obviously i had to improve the underside, so i thought why not spray on some basic branding.....obviously its an underside of a race car...
