Looks real nice, i have these on mine. Only thing id change on the car is the red center caps and the 2.016v badge at the back. Id stick the new style badges on instead.
Very limited colours in VHT paint mate, you'll struggle to find any who can mix custom colours in my experience. (I dont think you can DIY mix 2 high temperature paints of different colours either, this might have odd effects!)
Definately will need to be split, else as you have said you'll never get the bolts out without killing the paint. They are also a b*tch to reseal i imagine, you wont want any paint under the split / bolts thats for sure, as it will come loose. I dont think split rims are really designed with...
Hi matey, sorry you didnt get a response from us, our bad. I couldnt find any reference for the red on our paint system, i also had a google, but no positive results. So i couldnt get it mixed for you.....
On a side note your looking @£45 +p&p (+VAT) for a pair of mirror caps professionally...
Washer jet pipe and wiring definitely out of the way? try it without the light / washer jet in and the wire and water tube pushed into the boot holes, at least if it fits like this you'll know its only the wiring etc getting in the road. Sometimes they can be a right bugger to fit, are the red...
Hi mate, paint will be fine on the steering wheel, id try and key (sand) the lettering if possible with some fine sand paper (1000grit maybe), same with the other bits key them first, and of course degrease everything so theres nothing to stop it sticking.
Fine brush, steady hand thin coats...
Thanks mate, yep we could do any colour combo, i have atleast 3 remaining sets of smoothed bullets with the clips intact, and one set of 2.0's with 1 clip broken, i have them coming out my jacksy.
Your paints on route btw mate, just use a mask / in open air, i popped in the health and safety...
Hi Chaps, did these for a customer whos gone of the radar, so i thought id share now. These ware actually for sale via FB. Comments welcome, im also looking for ideas for more custom bullets and parts, so feel free to post them up.
Gutted, hate jealous people who do this type of thing, i dont get the mentality. Thats a very cheap price whoevers quoted you that, wings will need blending aswell.
Give us a call / email / pm, if you want new geniune renault or used parts sourced, we can spray and deliver a new wing and bumper for you to fit. RB as stated by gally is no problem, no need to blend the doors normally, esp as its not metalic / pearl colour!. Besides ive never seen a renault...
As im in the shop today, heres a picture from the tins. (Both are standard shade)
D44 is quite a bit darker, if you can find something in Monaca(432) dakrer shade you might have half a chance of it looking "reasonable". Heres the MIX for both paints......as you can see very different.
D44...
Cheers chaps, gotta do the doors, wheels x 4, mirrors, bullets, upper + lower grills, both diamonds, put on the new style rear badges, so fair damn way to go till she's good to go.
Mostly the rest of the plastics will be gloss black, but im undecided on the wheels...........i was considering RS...
Hi Chaps, many thanks for all the replies. Well i have an update, i've done the wings, and bonnet now, im leaving the wings untouched deisgn wise just repainted and blended to the bonnet and doors, i dont want the car looking over done. The tail end of today, ill try and get around to spraying...
Could well be nautical blue.....Mondial was only ever used on the 172 cups i believe. They are quite similar though, even the 182 has arctic blue which is very very close to mondial blue.
Cheers,

Hi, so ive been trying to find the time to get around to sorting out a branded car, and generally breathing some life back into my tired clio. Well its started and i work on it most evenings when the paying work is cleared off. See what you think, ill probably be posting pictures and updates...
Fold the mirror in 25 degree's (much easier to put on and off like that), lever carefully off with a flat screw drive....4 (2 top, 2 bottom) clips in the middle section, one at the end nearest the car and one little tab at the far rounded end. *They are tricky and the clips do often break*
