Rattle cans = fail, full stop. Get primer and the colour on that will be easy enough, make sure you blend the colour well else you will see your spray lines as rattle cans do not have the atomisation of an expensive spray gun. Use a tack coat first (light all over), then normally a 50-70%...
We do post and return on bumpers just (~12 delivery back to yoy, std insurance), most front / rear bumpers dont match the car 100% as they are sprayed seperate to the main body of the car. Blending a bumper is a bit over kill, and is very expensive, as its a wings and bonnet blend required to be...
If in doubt go to a local paint supplier and use the paint chip book. If its been painted and a paint code has not been given (i.e you just said white), it will be the box standard white not a renault paint most likely.
Sorry what i ment is,
Our paint system says there is ony 1 shade of J41, so there is very good chance of finding a door that matches decently with the car. Id try a door in the right colour, before i went to a bodyshop to be honest (shot self in foot), as if you want it to look perfect the...
Your in luck! according to our paint schema we use, only a "standard" shade for J41.......so if you can find a good door you might be in luck, but yeh it you have it sprayed, blend the wing and the door and the door with rear 1/4.

Heat up with blow torch, and cool rapidly......repeat. Remove caliper, then take the disc with it,smash the disc at the back with a lump hammer and a block of wood. (Dont blame me tho if you kill the disc, im a painter not a mechanic lol).
:S Why didnt they strip off the mirror caps, and seperate the handles to spray them.
Matt on a full car will be a bit of a nightmare, you'll never be able to polish it without special compounds. Is that a single stage? or a base coat and dull coat lacquer?
In my understanding the decision happens at the server end, from the platform / browser version information the browser sends out in the header. So i think your stuffed if the option to config this isnt in the browser on the phone.
If you want the "real" 205-110 that renault use then you need someone with an IXELL paint system. If you get stuck we do little touch up pots + 1k clear coat pot.
Cheers,
Si
All paints need to air flow to dry properly, even pro stuff takes weeks to reach full hardness. Either way using a hair dryer from a distance wont cause a problem, but it will put crap in the paint most likely!. Just make sure you dont get it too hot. If its 2K paint (pro stuff), heat will...
Wow thats crazy cheap, but paint was failing on the wheels before refurb, so did they dip or sand blast them then? Cant of been much prep, we could even prep them for that, dipping is expensive. Devils coating powder coat, they must be shifting hundreds of wheels a month to make the margins or...
Bit of a bummer mate, bonnet spray + wings and bumper blending in, to put right if your looking for perfection. There very very rarely such thing as a spot on colour match, renault are sh*tters, the cars are never the colour they were supposed to be. Im doing a full frontal and rear bumper...
Yep will cause your knocking, bolts are missing as you stated. Id replace all your mounts with Ktec ones (or other equal), best thing ive ever done to my Clio, transforms the feel.
172 Cups only came in type of blue, Mondial, have you tried "Renspares" on here? (were Cliospares). If not we do new parts at trade prices, and spray them up, but you'll need it blending.
Cheers,
Simon @ Spray Shack
Yep to me that looks like the cap thats supposed to be inside the HT lead is stuck on the top of plug. Just need to pull it off as advised earlier with plyers, difficult to see front piccy but the nut looks a little rounded to me....but i maybe be talking pants.
Nice photos, but like many the corsa VXR isnt for me either, i dont see how on paper they can be much faster over all than a stripped 172/182.
189 bhp as standard, 1.223 tons : 154bhp/ton
220 bhp mapped and money spend, 1.223 tons : 179bhp/ton
172 Cup, 1.035 tons : 166bhp/ton
Id just sand out the chips and rust well to bare clean metal, metal etching primer, primer, colour , clear coat, Bling Bling!. If you want it perfect , get someone to dip and strip then same process as above. If you get it sand blasted they will pit the hell out the metal if its powder coat and...
Yeh get it dipped, esp if its powercoated it will be very hard to remove even with a sand blaster.Obviously we can paint it back up for you, we did a set recently for someone else. Why remove the paint anyway? is it failing?
Id start with the basic's as stated above, "usually" you get tail tail signs that a HG's going, using water, mayonaise etc etc. Id change the thermostat then bleed system, wont cost much, also check that with the filler cap off for the coolant top up tank you can see the water pumping back in...
When its NOT working, try pinging (via command prompt "ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX") the IP address of google (209.85.147.104). If you can still ping this IP address then the DNS is your problem, and changing the server as suggested above will work, however you should take it up with talk talk, as...
As above, definately put tape on the wings, where it meets the bumper, its much safer with a mate pulling the other side of the bumper out at the same time.
