    172 Headlights.

Yep, just plug and play. How long were you getting out of your GTechniq Ceramic coating before they were starting to Haze? I’ve been looking at this to seal one of my set of lights.

    172 Headlights.

I did a bit of digging a while back as mine are the same. They xenons are no longer available new from Renault. The standard halogen headlights are still available new from Hella though. Your best bet would be to find a decent set of none hazy lights from here or eBay and religiously keep on...

    Radiator Replacement

I’ve got a new heater matrix to fit in the coming weeks, so I’m refreshing the cooling system while I’m at it. My radiator is in ok condition but for the sake of £70, it’s make sense to fit a new one while I’ve got the coolant pipes off etc. Can you fit a new rad without disturbing the...

    Rear beams

I’m looking at sorting my rear beam in the next few months. Is there a specialist place who will do this or is it just a case of tackling it yourself and sending it off for powder coating?

    Spacers 'guide'/info

I did think this was the case. Cheers for confirming (y) 5mm slip on spacers for the front will do for now then.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

I'm looking at 10mm PMS slip on front spacers as I've got the 16mm hubcentric and they are a touch too wide. Is there still enough hub protrusion to locate the wheel on with the 10mm set? I'm running ET40 16" Speedline Turrinis. If it's a bit dicey, I'll just get the 5mm set.

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

Still snowed under here so the Heater Matrix, engine mounts and Inlets probably won’t be done until next weekend now. In the mean time, I bought a front bonnet seal as mine went missing. I need to adjust the fitment of my bonnet too as the shut line around the headlights is awful. In fact...

Frayz's Inferno 182 - Back in the old flame

110% this. After reading this over the last few nights, my list of jobs for mine has just about doubled in size. The car looks amazing though. Great attention to detail and choice of subtle mods.

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

All the bits from Max at MS Custom Engineering were dropped off last week. Very impressed with the work. Sorted my knackered throttle body for free too. Top bloke. Bought a new upper engine mount and upper gear box mount while I was at it. New gaskets for all the above too. Just need to wait...

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

RPD came through with the Heater Matrix. Landed on my doorstep yesterday as they had to order iT from overseas. Hopefully it stops pissing it down outside this weekend so I can swap it out. I spent an afternoon sorting my xenons too. I’ve currently got standard MK2 Clio non xenons in and they...

Covid182 the longest clutch change ever

Just finished reading this. Well done mate, seriously impressive work. It’s given me a bit of motivation to sort the rear beam out on mine as it was a little crusty when I did a suspension refresh last summer. Love the 2118’s. Will look mega on them!

    Wet rear passenger side footwell

Yeah, I would have thought so. I take it your boot and under the boot mat is bone dry? I’d certainly check the door seal to rule that one out.

    Wet rear passenger side footwell

Have you checked the black bungs next to the rear light clusters are in tight? Mine were loose and would let water in. Soaked the rear carpets. Sealed up with tiger seal and I’ve not had a problem since. Might be worth checking your door seal too? No sure if it would just let water into the...

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

Just a quick update. Long overdue as usual! Lots of bits and bobs have been done recently. Snappy re-trimmed the original wheel. What a difference it’s made. I’ve got a new set of top mounts to go on the car once the weather is better as mine are a little old. May fit some camber bolts to...

    Heater Matrix

Evening chaps, I’ve been battling a leak in the drivers footwell of my 182 for a couple of months now. Took the carpet out and put down a dusting of talc to try and trace it. Turns out it’s dropping coolant as the tiny puddle in the footwell is green and sweet smelling. I did think the coolant...

    Clio 182 Rear Quarter Windows

I’ve pulled the tucked in seal out so it’s all sitting flush now. No leaks so far so either so your right about it not being the actual seal. Cheers for the help :)

    Clio 182 Rear Quarter Windows

I’m hoping the collective minds on here can help out with this one. I’ve been working my way through sealing all the leaks in my Clio 182. Pretty much spot on now, however, I just want to double check these rear quarter window seals. From what I’ve read the rear quarter windows are bonded in...

    Steering Wheels (Snappy Ones)

Had my ‘Snappy’ wheel for a couple of months now. Well worth the wait and finishes off the interior nicely. Snappy is a top guy too. The pic doesn’t do it justice!

    Wet footwells again!

That’s some effort there:oops: I have read about the heater matrix needing replaced if it’s too far gone. No a job I fancy doing in the depths of winter haha.

    Wet footwells again!

Glad you sorted it mate. I’ll get mine done next weekend as it’s doing my head in:LOL: Cheers

    Wet footwells again!

How’s this holding up after 6 months? No sign of a wet drivers footwell again? I’m 99% sure I’ve got the same issue as the scuttle drains are clear and it seems to be coming from the heater vents.

RS Clio182 FF against Cayman S, E93 M3 and TVR

Top work on the vid and love the thumbnail with the Clio cocking a wheel(y)(y) I watched this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fantastic roads around your way too. They seem suited to the Clio even when running with the more exotic metal In your video.

    Mk2 RS prices

It’s the natural life cycle of this type of car really. They were dirt cheap a few years back and many fell into the wrong hands. The same can be said for the EP3, E46 M3, 106 GTi etc. Like many on here have said, plenty have been tracked, broken or neglected, which means the decent ones are...

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

Pics from Sundays drive. New smaller front plate fitted and it cleans up the front end so much. Xenons are currently removed while i fix them. The Gramsports have now settled after around 200 miles or so. Looks ace wit ha little front rake too. If anyone is passing through the...

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

Another long overdue update on the car. Booked it into Rentec in Edinburgh for a few jobs (y) Whilst it was up there, the chaps gave the whole car the once over and sorted anything that needed sorted. Dropped it off Thursday 18th and by Friday morning I got a call from Barrie with a small list...

    RM04 MOR - Arctic Blue 182

Cheers(y) Yeah the front plate is now back on. It was a right state with all the sticky pads on the back. All cleaned up and a couple of Velcro coins are now fixing it to the front bumper. Aye, I think I’m just going to have to do all three mounts. How noticeable are the vibrations? It’s not a...
