No it isn't sold, i dropped the price in desperation to get hold of a car my friend was selling, but it sold before i sold mine and haven't pushed the sale of mine at all because of that. if your friend wants it get him to message me, its still available, at the moment it just sits on the drive!

@Christ Almighty if your dipstick keeps blowing out then you have boost entering your bottom end, this is something you should be looking in to asap.

So yesterday i finished up the last few bits, i fitted the ph1 hazard switch into the ph2 housing as others have done, i also fitted the ph1 central locking switch, this has been put on the small panel under the heater dials, there is no de-mister switch and the locking switch on the hazard...

I've got 2 mk2 dash's and the swap is easy but its the buttons that are a problem, there doesnt seem to be a way to get all working properly and i dont want to have the buttons doing the wrong things (AC button working the demister e.t.c)

This is going to be more difficult than i first thought, do you know if the the heater controls are 'plug and play' ? i think retro mounting the ph1 demister switch and Locking switch maybe easier ?
has anyone looked at cutting and joining the wires? i have both ph1 and ph2 interior looms

Its not worth it, you'll be looking at 900-£1600 in parts depending on mods/condition e.t.c, you'll have to do with a million time wasters
