Spotted a white 197 on different wheels heading towards the karting circuit on Saturday.. driving up someone's chuff on the dial carriage way. Then yesterday leaving the water park just outside s'Arenel (sp) spotted the rear of a nice looking titanium ph1 :p ​Anyone on here?

All sounds a bit odd eh. What colour is Renault Sport stitching to the front seats, coloured or grey? And as mentioned, is it a cable throttle? When you say you asked Renault, do you mean Renault UK or your local Rensult dealer? Did you give them the VIN number? I think we need some pics :)
