Whats the milage on the car Jigg? Also, does the car have service history. few owners..? All the usual things that make a car desirable? What colour is it?
I'm trying to enlighten you a little, not **** off the work of your colleagues. On the v6, painted surfaces (typically where the bolts are) fit face to face. So painting off the car is a better job. A bit like painting a house hold window or door with it left shut, you wouldn't... you'd open it...
On the edges where the panels join each other. Admittedly, most body shops wouldn't bother.. but if you want to be 100%, the individual panels are better off being removed on a v6. Just like you've removed the front bumper. Without doing this, dry edges are unavoidable. Its just the way vee's...
Lots of dry edges going on there.... apart from that, looks a good finish. How are you going about fitting the 'D' panel to the front bumper with that gusset/re-inforcement section Gally? Just curious...
Great venue, great event, great crowd.
Well done to all the CS team involved with CS13. Looking forward to next year!
By the time we got back from looking at the planes, half had already left!? I didn't get to see anywhere near the amount of people I wanted to, you included Tom. How to catch...
Cheers,
Please excuse my ignorance, but are any of the afore mentioned, road legal? A friend and I have just bought Ad's Odyssey ph1 that were looking at tracking for a of fun. Ideally we'd be looking at driving it to and from events. At least initially anyway.
Thanks again
Hahaha.... Oops. Kinda misunderstood what you guys were driving at, sorry!
3 of us had a London v6 photo shoot about 2/3 years ago. Would be great to do another :) We were right in the City.. Dinner sounds good :p
Have a great time guys!!
Plenty of pics please ;)
Can you make sure Ryan doesn't think it's a good idea to walk home after a heavy drinking sesh like he did the other week lol ... ;)
Have a great time youth!! Hope you like hot beer, it gets bloody hot under there behind the rad ;)
Car looks great btw :) Plenty of pics please!
Dont forget your spare coil packs, 10mm socket and screw driver ;)
Its the 'duck tail' spoiler, used on the v6 Trophy cars. Also later copied by Prima Racing, very slightly different.. Would have gone last night too, but got stuck at work until it was too late to go. Doesnt look as busy as last months?
Re: My PH1 172
Thinking the same, as mine are also cracked. How much are Renault charging, if you dont mind me asking? The car is looking amazing..! Looking forward to having a look at CSS :)
Thanks mate, it's still work in progress really, just a few small things still to be done to get how I'd like it. It'll never be as clean as yours in my ownership lol. I take out my OCD tendencies on my v6 lol.
Congratulations on your prize... most worthy indeed!
Haha... How about a line up of just Titanium ph1's then, as well as the spectrum of production colours line up. Not seen anything like that since the dodgy pics of the first CS meet in Seouthend :)
Great thread.. Lol
I'm 45, and love having a ph1 172 to accompany the v6 255. Driving around in a family saloon car has zero appeal to me still. Where does it say that oldies have to drive a barge and not have fun behind the wheel of a car. I've always enjoyed driving and I don't see why that...
Great pics!! Another great event, with gorgeous weather too :) Mine was the ph1 you parked next to :)
One of my favoured event, with not a chav in sight all day.
Big thanks to RAOC for laying on the hospitality as usual.
