Are there not 2 model types of ph1? CB0M and CB1C ? Or code no's. very similar. Will this not be relevant when swapping ECU's? I'm not a techy.. just posing the question. :)
In a nut shell...
There were 2 cup pack options. Spoiler pack, and handling pack. You could opt for one or the other or both, on top of the standard model 182. (Not the Cup)
Duncan, great write up.. great pics.. great car!!
Looking forward to meeting up for some pics soon!
Couzens.. re the colour coded pods on ph2 cars, they were also on very early i.d. colours like Acid, Lunar, Bronze and Liquid (although no colour coded Liquids made it to the UK). Later, i.d...
Like wise... give me a shout Andrew.
Hell... we could easily get 3 Mars vee's together, your BG and my vee! :D And all within a 10mile radius of each other lol
Agreed.. it was a bold move indeed by Renault to use Acid Yellow, but I think it shows the car off to great effect. Dont get me wrong here, I dont think I could drive around in one, but given enough cash and room to keep a few more cars, I'd love to have this Acid v6 for myself. Its become such...
£26,995.00 rrp for a standard v6 iirc. This would have been even more, given the extra cost of an I.D. paint colour Luke. Another £1,500 or there abouts!
Each car cost Renault considerably more than that!! So on that basis, they're an absolute bargain! :)
LOL... You'd rather have a FRP. Now they're what I call pony. ;)
Taste is a very personal thing. :approve:
As for detailing Acid, I'm sorry Kev, but you're talking out the back of your head dude.
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
I quite warming to the look of the new RS4, just disappointed that theres no 3door version at the moment.
Would like to see better pics of a black one :approve:
A 1983 Renault 5 Alpine/Gordini with over 100k km on the clock, but exceptionally rust free and in very good OEM condition sold earlier this year for circa £6,500.00
These cars were considered almost 'disposable', like 172's are now.
I think on this basis, its inevitable that low milage...
Hey no problem.. They were only on a 'W' or 'X' to the best of my knowledge. What was the original colour comb of your friends Nan's car? Didnt you mention this a while ago on here..? Fully restored, probably £6k - £8k! What a great thing to be left!
Regarding the fabric, which is notoriously...
Ha..! How could I forget the Supersport!
Mine was white, with red decals and interior. Produced only in 1981, the forerunner to the better known XR2. Loved it! Rare as hens teeth now though.
