Ah yes, so they did... Lol
I just elaborated on your comment a little ;)
For a long term investment, finding wheels etc at the right price and storing it for a few years, it's a reasonable price (assuming values continue to appreciate). Keep it for another 5 years, stored and in-used, and...
The whole cat D thing is quite subjective. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not in the trade but have friends that are...
A car can be classed as a cat. D if the cost of the repairs exceed (approximately) 75% of the value of the car. If it's written off as cat D from new, that'd be £18,750...
I have occasionally had a similar issue. I'm a self confessed IT r****d... I just re-boot the router, switch the MBP off, and 'generally' it seems to work. Not much help, but at least you know you're not alone with the problem. :clown:
I got my legs slapped by the noise police lady... :nono:
Im still till to really hear what mine sounds like from the outside. Was it 'too loud' Fletch? Not chavy noisy I hope!?! :quiet:
Nice ice video Ali.
Just been rent chatting to Simon, car should be on its way about now ;)
I think the story went a little like this.. He wanted to try hill climbing the Vee but wanted more power. He realised that increased power was easier obtained from an A610 so sold the v6. Last time I spoke to him properly he was going to find out which v6 he owned. Thanks for the reminder! Lol
Its one of just a couple of remaining banners used by Renault during the launch of the v6.. all the rest were destroyed once the pro-mo work had ended. This one was presented to v6Clio.net by Alpine and RenaultSport enthusiast Tim Jeffries. Tim owned the very first Clio v6 in the UK!
:D
Gaetan (iirc) is a top guy. As Matt said, mad as a box of frogs lol.. His car gets driven all over the place! He's definitely not one for detailing lol
We had pics of both our cars taken at Mas du Clos in 2010. The wind caught his car door and it just clipped my door. For the first time, my car...
Thanks for posting this quick video Chip. It was quickly put together by one of the drivers on Sunday morning. So until we get something more official together, I'm very grateful he sent us this.
Thank you to everyone that was able to attend! Great to put some names to faces. :)
May I ask all...
Congrats on the new purchase Ant..!
Looks like you've found yourself a very tidy v6. #1157 would certainly be an import.. There were quite a few that didnt come through the RUK system. That bonnet catch looks in need of some lubricant, you know the issues related to them by now i'm sure ;)
Ah.. I see.. We have enough vee's now to have 2 dedicated sessions.. if required. That option will be at the choice of vee owners. If Dawn's not fussed, there could be the possibility you might see her.
Nice little write up Colin... Wish I could've joined you all up there, but it just wasn't to be for this year.. Need to burst my Scotland road trip bubble! :D
