Sure do.. with a little manipulation and trimming. There's actually an Illiad and Acid with the 197 splitter fitted already. Not my thing, but they seem to fit well, and help protect the bumper from scrapes. :approve:
LOL.. You soon changed your mind.. you liked it a few mins ago, all-beit in black or carbon.
Who said it was OEM?
Spin..? The splitter design is factual, colour coding is my opinion which I'm entitled to voice, as are you dude.
My personal preference is no splitter, thats why I don't have...
Wrong... IMHO of course.. These particular colour coded splitters on v6's are way better. They keep the front looking both OEM and lower to the ground. These splitters have a rebate detail to the back edge, following the profile of the bumper and not visible once fitted. They overlap the bottom...
We managed to do something like this at Linas-Montlhery, just South of Paris in 2012.
Black Gold
Moonlight Blue
Illiad Blue
Iceberg Silver
Titanium Silver
Lunar Grey
Acid Yellow
Saffron Yellow (Trophy colour)
Liquid Yellow
Inferno
Mars Red
It wasnt planned as such, but we noticed we had...
'IF' you take the alternative 'cheap wheel' style option, of the two choices above... the 'Ostra' get my vote. 'Lynx' look like you've made a 172 rep. IMO lol
When are you available..!? Be great to see you.. loads to catch up on.
Will give you a call X
Hahaha... I know right.! But the weather yesterday was so good.. I just couldn't resist the temptation. That and the gritters are long since gone from here (only saw them once, mid January) and any...
It's amazing, the amount of contaminates already on the car. The brand new Caddy we bought back in 2008 was returned to the dealer because of marks on the paint. Contamination that they refered to as 'fall-out'. Apparently is where the new vehicles are left next to the railway line at Wolfsberg...
Standard ph1 v6 roof spoiler is the same as the ph1 172, as are the rear lights (as mentioned and agreed ;)) The ph2 had a totally new rear spoiler that was later used on the 182 Trophy.
Other ph1/ph2 rear end differences are-
• Boot lids on some of the earlier ph1 models
• Bumper mesh ph1...
Delighted to hear you're keeping it OEM :)
Re import.. a few things.
• Reg number is unlikely to be on RUK system.
• Alarm will beep (not silent when locking the car)
• No window etching.
• Bonnet alarm switch is in a different place.
• Car would have had an import certificate.
• Some...
You're a lucky lad finding that! Looks lovely!! What are your plans for it? Keeping it OEM/+ ?
Am i right thinking its an import? Not that it matters a fig, just an observation. :race:
Hi Craig, and quite rightly so! But that price would be relative to the price of any other ph1 v6. If a rough ph1 goes for as little as 5k (if you're lucky to find one), then 7-8k for this would be an utter bargain imo. Keep them prices bouyant i say..! Means more value in yours and all other...
Not an unrealistic asking price IMHO..
Registered in 2002, so 'if' the cam belt was done on age as it should be on that sort of milage, it will be due again in 2017
The boot lid type is consistent with a v6 of that age. The v6 badge is in the wrong case, and the does appear to be a slight...
Well the ph1 was mine :p parked behind a very tidy looking 172 Mondial Cup, with Trendlines and a brake upgrade. Very OEM+ and very nice indeed.
Then spotted a 182 Trophy entering our car park as we were walking to the NEC entrance.
Saw nothing of the other cars mentioned on the other...
