A friend of mine is after the torque setting for the bolt that holds on the dephaser pulley. This is for a 2000 reg 172, (type CB0M iirc)Anyone help please. I know it's bound to be on here somewhere, but I'm in the middle of rural Sussex with naff phone signal. Fred... James... Tom.. Sam? anyone...
If you really feel you need to change bits.. Dynamique alloys, apex springs to lower it a bit (firm ride, but cheapest way) and an RS grill. Leave it at that... all reverable for when you went to sell and move onto your next car. Keep it clean and simple, and dont waste a load of money on it...
Thanks Rob.. I feel very lucky to have such a car.. you're right too, it is unique. Sorry we were so late, as I missed out on chatting to so many people, yourself included. Thanks for arranging a very successful meet. Great bunch of people. Hope to catch up with you soon.. will keep a look out...
Hey, if they're going to be as good as your avatar pic looks.. you're on!! Plenty of rape seed fields in bloom at the moment, need to add some colour to any pic with my car in it.. :p
Its the law Sam.... ask Fred
Great run out today.. and good to see people again, new and old faces!

Hahha.. Nail - and - head.
Brewer may well be a nice guy etc etc.. but he act like a complete oaf.. sitting on the car, knocking on the body work with his knuckles.. arrgh!

Thanks Jonathan.. i've been doing a bit more digging around on this.. ;)
Seems there may have been a cut off date around the end of October/November time during manufacturing that is changed over. I believe I've just bought one of the last shift lit 172's :)
