anyway @DTMCarsLtd any pics on what you did yet?
Mines great on track but driving to the track a constant rattle was annoying had to drive with my hand resting on top of it lol (glad it is not my everyday car)
If you look at your VIN plate and there is no towing weight ie 0000 KG or XXXX KG your car can not tow anything and if you had a accident and the police look at the plate you will not be insured.
Thing is deaths or big crashes are expected at the IOM TT, where as if someone dies at a track it is completely different, everyone knows what they are doing when they get on a bike to race around the IOM.
I don't think it will ever be not run as it generates 90% (not sure on exact figures but...
That would never work, you can not take .1mm / 0.004" out with a step drill and hand drill and keep it square, with a flap wheel you will only be polishing the surface taking small amounts off.
go and get yourself a flap wheel from halfords stick it in the drill and let it rip more chance of keeping the hole round

Have a look http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?743520-Painted-wiper-blank-issues here I made my own only a couple of quid for a spare surround from Renault and some filler
I am looking for a new pressure gauge but want one with a air release to make it easier to set the correct pressure at trackdays.
I have seen THIS one
and it looks to be the same as the sealey one almost twice the price SEALEY
anyone using one of these or what do you recommend
you mean the accoustic valve.
Mines gone and the plug is just wrapped up and tucked away and the vacuum is blocked off on the inlet manifold with a small rubber cap (came with my ITG induction kit)
Decided to remover the rear wiper today makes the back end look so much better, what a ba***rd to get off though, ended up using mole grips with one jaw on the back of the wiper and one on the end of the thread and working it off slowly (the spanner trick did not work)
I had mine set up there a few weeks ago, they are good guys that know what they are doing, I think I paid £38 that was including camber.
While I was there someone turned up in a track prepped M3 and a drift car
I decided to remove my rear wiper today and instead of just using a grommet I decided to smooth it out.
steps taken
I sanded the lump off
Blocked the hole off with some plastic and bonded it in to the back face
Used P38 body filler to fill the hole
sanded smooth
Plastic Primed
Filler...
I have mine done and A pillars and mirror covers and centre console around handbrake and gearstick and it makes the car look so much better, but mine is only a track car so not sure what it will wear like
sorry that was aimed at GCC and bug
I think they were the ones I ordered and was fine, as for the inners dealer is best but you can get some others firstline is one make just be aware that changing is not the easiest unless you have the correct tool.
I made a tool and it was really easy but if...
are you talking about inner tie rods or the ends?
I brought the ends (lemforder ones) and they were fine just brought genuine inner tie rods as that is where all the parts suppliers screw up.
