I have had a set of Cooksport springs for a while but finally fitted them the other day along with new front shocks (will replace the rear shocks later on) and also fitted the PMS strut brace and top mounts, it is sitting so much better now just need to fit the camber bolts and get the geo set...
I have some 15 inch pro race 1.2 et43 with 205/50/15 Federal RSR's, I am keeping standard cup shocks but putting cooksport springs on.
ATM with standard springs I have between 12-15mm (measured with a fat finger lol) between the tyre and the strut.
I am looking to run around 2.25deg of negative...
Got the PMS gear linkage fitted,
got Mick at Diamond motors to do it as I could not be arsed lying on the floor in winter, and it has transformed the car and I can now reach 1st and reverse easily when I am strapped into the seat
I got the car in October and a week after that the work started, including lots of phone calls ordering bits.:D
list so far is
Safety Devices 6 point bolt in cage
Bimarco Futura bucket seats
Bimarco Aluminium side mounts
Pair of 6 point Sabelt harnesses
Oreca 330mm steering wheel
Flocked...
not me but I think I looked at that thread a load of times and thought changing buttons is too much messing about, as I was not 100% confident in what I would be doing.
the horn is on a ph1 indicator stalk.
the carbon plate is just one off ebay and I cut it to the shape I wanted

lol
I would give him a call as he is doing another top steering cowl cover for me as I broke the clip that holds it down when fitting it :o and he said he is very busy at the moment so you may have to plan it a good few weeks in advance.
the car is my track car so I had it all in bits anyway so I drove over to him in my other car with them all and he brought them back to me a week later as they are only 1 hour from me but you can post them
I've had a lot of bits done at Floc-king and the quality is excellent and was half the price of everywhere else I got quotes from.
got some photos but they came out a funny colour for some reason, I will try and get some uploaded later on.

are you fitting them to the inside of the screen?
as I have heard if they interfere with the wiper stroke it will fail a MOT, need to get one soon for my track car as the sunvisors had to be removed because of the cage.
If Dunlops are really that bad in the wet it is going to rule them out, no point paying money for a track day and get there and it is p**sing it down just going to spoil the day.
The car is on standard shocks but going to put cooksport springs on (can't afford coilovers yet) and possibly a PMS...
need to get me some tyres for my clio, the car is mainly a track car but it will be used to drive to and from the track and possibly the odd Sunday blast.
I have always thought I would get some RSR's as they seem like a bargain, and they can be used in the wet as I don't want to be taking two...
Not good
I always found ramps a pain kept slipping when I was reversing up and could not get the front of the car on them because of the angle, so I made some extensions at work that bolt to the ramps so they do not slip and makes the angle nice and shallow now so no issue with clearance.
whys this?
I will be getting some RSR's soon and wondering what camber to run (mainly track use) but needs to be driven to tracks but don't want the tyres to wear too quickly on inside edges.
what is the max camber that you can get with camber bolts?
