If you are not going to track it just go for some good road tyres Michelin PS3 or similar, I run them on my Meg 250 and they provide more than enough grip, also with winter coming up it is only going to get wetter so you will probably be going slower with Federals or Nankangs on.

I have a set that I use for road and very wet track, they are good for the money but nothing like my Dunlop Direzza in the dry.

MicKPM where would the signal come from on my 250? As I could connect it to that to test it. if I put a picture up would you be able to point out the wires?

I have wired it up the same as northloopcup. i used the cigarette lighter power for the 12v ignition 12v power, earth point on the battery negative earth point on the chassis and the signal from the coil wire (orange) set the unit to 2cyl but it is not getting anything. the shift light is a DRE...

It's to connect a shift light, I connected the signal wire of the shift light to the orange wire (one of the thinner wires) but not getting any reading on the shift light.

I am trying to find the negative wire of the 3 that connect to the coil, I know 1 should show 12V. I have put a multimeter on all 3 with the ignition on and all are showing 0V? The car starts and runs fine and when running I am getting a reading of 14.??V on all 3. Anybody got any ideas?

Anyone got a sequential shift light. After Oulton I have thought it would be a useful addition, so I am thinking of the Omex one. It seems pretty easy to wire up just a ignition live a ground and coil pack negative, any idea which wire that is of the 3?
