Roof lining retrimmed and a couple of stickers...

It feels more cosy but not claustrophobic (unless you're sat in the back!) so all is well. Is it really that difficult to search eBay for alcantara fabric?

You could trim over those holes then and have it even tidier :)

Roof lining retrimmed and a couple of stickers...

Yeah the grab handle blanks and sun visor clips can't be reused and the latter are a b**ch to get out. I had to use mole grips! I've ordered some new ones though as a replacement so hopefully they'll do the job. I just trimmed over the grab handle blank holes as mentioned.

The little plastic cover at the top of the photo is that colour too. It is a different colour but it doesn't stand out too much... I actually quite like it. It's too much hassle spraying/covering them up or looking for replacements. I did cover over the grab handles/blanks though which looks...

eBay. It's not real alcantara but matches the (182 FF) door cards perfectly.

Roof lining retrimmed and a couple of stickers...

You wouldn't say that if you saw it close up! It's had a hard life... but scrubs up well ;) Yep! I'd imagine it's easier to do than the A-pillars but haven't tried them. There are a few tricky bends and you have to watch out for air bubbles/creases. It would be easier with an extra pair of hands...

Cheers. The cover for the screw that holds the aerial base on. Yeah, didn't take long but was fiddly getting the headlining off/back on.

Can someone tell me what this means or is? Spring or shock?

Is it still the same when your wheels are straight as in: 1) It's raised 2) It's raised but uneven like in the photos ? If 1, then that's normal.

Roof lining retrimmed and a couple of stickers...

For some reason it looks like there are small creases in the roof lining but it's just the photo! Uploaded to Facebook so byebye quality. Also got some stickers made up by Ady off here. I wanted red at first but changed my mind... I love the subtle look you see. Interior is a nice place to be...

    Removing sun visor clips

Read the first sentence :p I can't see where the clips are though. It seems solid in place... I'll have another look tomorrow.

    Removing sun visor clips

Ace thanks Thomas. The only thing is the Trophy has the single interior light so is slightly different and I can't see any screws or clips to undo it from the roof :(
  18. jesus

    Removing sun visor clips

They are pretty much solid in place... won't rotate or pull out at all even though the screw is out. I know it's possible but I wouldn't mind reusing them!

    Best camber/toe setup for Trophy

BLiNK Motorsport in Cheshire is the only place I trust! It's an hour away but they do a splendid job. I've tried and tested other local places and they have always gone tits up or left my steering wheel offset. They said around £50-75 I think. If you just want tracking doing it's around £30.

    Removing sun visor clips

I also need to know how to remove the interior light (full unit not just the light itself) as these are the only thing stopping me getting the roof lining off.

    Removing sun visor clips

I've ripped my headlining out and destroyed a grab handle in the process as expected. I've unscrewed the screws holding the sun visor small clip in (the hook that keeps the actual visor in place) and it's not moving at all. Is there a way to get it out and be able to reuse it? Or does it need...

    Whiteline Rear ARB

One question - is it worth it for normal road/occasional B-road? Especially on a Trophy. Setup will be Sachs, Sportlines, Koni adjustable rears and -1.5 camber.
