11 year old A048 cold in the wet > ad08rs warm in the dry. And Im being serious. Its such a shame the 195/50/16 in the a048s are just too tall for for the front, spaced out the gearing way too much.

Put the rack back together with the piston or whatever its called on the left, adjusted the pre load until there was no twisting of the rack. Put everything back on the car and couldnt wait until tomorrow to try it out so just got it off the stands and so far......... Its the smoothest its ever...

Left is from a standard pas rack, right is from quick rack. Is the wear causing problems? Not seating correctly?

I was thinking about something like this because Im not going full cage and dont feel safe without a harness on track. Is this perfectly fine to do?

Yaw sensor is under handbrake trim. Abs fuse is there, its on the double orange block. And dont need speedo for mot

Only need the rear sensors for the the speedo to work, possibly the other way round too @1985michael182

What am I’m doing wrong? The rack goes on in one position only, I drive very considerate to the car, when there are ruts or pot holes I’m very light on the steering, I never force the wheel. When I put all together it’s free moving, uj turns okay. 😕

Fit the solid rack bushes and also tightened up the pre load as to rule out that I hadn’t loosened it too much. Still play and clunks. That’s play in the rack, the bushes have made the rack not move at all

Type in whatever model car it is on google engine bay fuse list. Diagrams are all there (y)

Is there any extra weight in the steering? I guess you didnt go fast enough to compare the difference.
